I have been dealing with a guy called John to order Euro-Box racks for my Pashley Pronto.
I believe you will get a better price dealing with them directly.

Getting very excited, all the peripherals for my new road bike have arrived and my bike is being built on Friday.
Ordered a Ribble sportive 365 with 105 and mavic aksiums.
It's my mileage munching training bike so wanted something rock solid, useful in all weather (full mudguards :) ) but just nice enough to make me smile.
Last ride on my current rubble this weekend will be a fairwell epic, I had planned 100 miles but my wife wants to do 20 with me so it's going to be 120miles ish. I think I might skip the brick run session that's in my training plan!

Sound like it's a great choice of bike, it's always nice to have an awesome bike that'll keep you dry on top.

i have an odd modolo stem hanging around i may use for an early nineties build
i heard these were stiffer
than these
true or false? -
• #90735
Q Race stem?
-
• #90736
yes, was told they were stiffer/better due the slit topside
-
• #90737
what say you Edward?
-
• #90738
I heard similar thing about it being better, Modolo would look ace on the early ninites build than a Cinelli.

• #90739
ok, gracias hermano

I don't know about being stiffer, but I'm sure I read that the design was flawed, because having the threaded hole on top weakened them...

50/50 then?
a collectors wrench told me pros used them as were stiff, wrench reckoned he'd met quite a number of riders
i thought horseshit as I aint seen too many pro bikes with modolo -
• #90742
Apparenty you can buy the "vintage" Q Race from Modolo directly (was having a look and see if they still exist);

• #90744
I like that a lot. Is there anywhere selling those?
-
• #90746
Good, it looks as though Frogs fall into the 'not quite as bad' category due to the angle of the faceplate.

Sunny day ride finished (on the lookout for a layback Thomson though, or may swap to silvet stem. Also probz going back to GP4000s for practical reasons).
Got a 56cm Concorde coming to be my wet weather/rougher bike and a 56cm 'vintage steel' and a 58x56 tarck bbike.
The reason I put sizes is because this is 58st and 55tt and despite hundreds of miles on it, I'm not sure it fits. It shouldn't (internet bike fit tells me 56x56).
Setup isn't extreme though, I feel like I can't get the saddle back enough on any bike I have. Long thighs?

Hah, that's the stem I've got on my track bike. Erk.

Not sure if it's just going between 165 and 172.5 that makes it feel odd. I didn't really notice it until I started commuting fixed again.
Probably best contacting Pashley directly.
