Adjusting stem height without moving spacers about.
Modern version of a quill stem I guess.

Presumably riding like this would be horrible, like a loose threaded headset?

Christ I'm an idiot. I thought they just had a bare steerer, I didn't realise it was a special stem.
I take it all back. That is fantastic.

They are pretty cool.
I love my P1, I'm actually considering putting some carbon rigid forks on, drop bars and ligther wheels to make it more of a cx bike

I have offically gone over the n+1 rule. I need to sell at least two.

Put some compacts on the moser because it doesn't really fit me:

sounds legit.
Internet bike fit would suggest that the setup you've got there is not exactly extreme compared to what you can see elsewhere on this forum...

Look fine to me.
Is the Moser the same size as that red hipster bike?
-
• #90717
The sled's 51/54 s/t, the Moser's 55 square.
-
• #90718
I think only the top tube really matters on a road bike, as long as that isn't to long for you, Looks fine

So the Moser is longer than the sled (if 51 refer to the top tube).
Obviously I have no idea how you fit on the sled, but generally flat bar bicycles are usually longer in the top tube to compensate for the lack of brake hood that lengthened the reach more.
Ideally, it should be the other way round.
E.g, I fit a 54cm top tube with drop bar, with flat bar it's 57cm.
My suggestion - go to a chain bike shop that have a range of road bike to try out, test ride them a couple of them in different sizes, see which one felt more comfortable, then write the size, make and model to get the size chart and compare it to the Moser.

It's not that much longer, 51 is the seat tube on the skidder, 54 on top and I run a 130mm stem to go with the flat bars. Moser feels just fine with short reach bars now, it's just totally perverse for a fast 90s bike to have such middle-aged bars.

• #90722
That's good to know, the picture of the sled made it look like an 80mm rather!
You'll like compact, much more comfortable than the classic bar.

Does anyone know a place online that I can source a replacement mudguard for a Pashley Princess, or will I have to get a lbs to order one for me?
£25 is amazing price considering that's usually just the labour charge alone.
