From now on, only bicycles with tires from A. Dugast or François Marie can be counted as porn.
ftfy
But of course, anything with the right tyres remains eligible.

Its CaptainP's bike and he makes those saddlebags: http://www.kaptajn.bigcartel.com/
Any idea what the saddle is?
(I assume that's a big part of what makes it fit so nicely)

Saw that earlier. Could not be a worse snoozefest if it tried. The brake cable routing is interesting, but not interesting enough to warrant best in show at NAHBS.
Unless, of course, it was the best in show, in which case I despair...

Benotto's nice but toooo white. Needs silver rims and possibly a black saddle. And gum walls, obviously. :)

we sell Argonaut at work, and the attention to detail is amazing. The sheer quality might have been what won it the award, rather than anything groundbreaking

also bankbreaking

What tyres are they? clincher or tub?

I like it.. but the traditional exposed headset doesn't sit right with modern fork...

Look like Vittoria Open Corsa SCs -

Not as good:
The GP4000S is a remarkable achievement - a properly fast tyre which you can ride with impunity on unpaved roads.

Josh- Giro cycles out in Esher (Surrey). Only non-US dealer, but as the bikes are fully custom, the one we have are just examples of what can be done. And the semi-integrated Chris Kings are lovely!

^^ sorry that doesnt change my mind...
Seems like a usa thing with an insistance to slap as much branded CK stuff on bikes as possible. Its not an attractive junction between headtube and fork.
I like traditional cups on steel / ti bikes but carbon offers the ability to tune / step the headtube with ease so it seems really perverse to have in a traditional cup.
Pressfit cartridge bearings are great in roadbike headset applications as when they are knackered its a 5 min job to change.
might have to pedal down to esher to take a look. any test rigs?

Not yet, but working on it. A few examples around the shop though, so might change your mind when you see :)
Ben (the Argonaut builder) is good friends with Mr. King, and are the only headset/BB's he will put in his frames.

bollocks
I'm not crazy on external headsets on oversized tubes, but the main thing that kills me with those CK?Enve interface is that exposed bottom ring section.
How come CK don't make some sort of bottom cup that sits flush?

I kind of agree. But I assume it won because it's a custom carbon US builder who uses teal.

two of the dullest bikes I have ever seen.

also - pie plate cassettes and compact cranksets on road bikes are never, ever porn

6800 with 11-28 is 6700 with 11-25 and an extra 28t cog
They are supposed to be sort of the same as the GP4000S tires. If it isn't a touring tire, what is it then?
(I think the 4000 look better than the gators)
