6800 with 11-28 is 6700 with 11-25 and an extra 28t cog
what's your point? A 6700 11-25 is just a 6500 11-23 with an extra 25t sprocket.

I prefer the mass-produced Caad10 repost to the Argonaut or Parlee or whatever it is.

also - pie plate cassettes and compact cranksets on road bikes are never, ever porn
This is weird. Low gears aren't just for MAMILs (and amey). Nobody cares how fast your legs spin so how can their be an ideal gear?

Porn is porn - it's all about aesthetics. Porn doesn't care about cadence or gradient.
Road bikes should have 11-21 cassettes and 53-39 chainrings. 11-23 is also acceptable, sort of. Compact are vaguely acceptable, but not combined with massive cassettes. No way no how.

these rules are for road bikes only, utility/shopper/touring/audax/ cx can do whatever they want with gears.

Yes. Speed, speed is everything but unless your Chris Horner your not going to climb anything significant with any significant speed on 39-21.

Actually, yeah you're probably right...

There are rules on CX gearing too ya know.
the main thing that kills me with those CK?Enve interface is that exposed bottom ring section.
How come CK don't make some sort of bottom cup that sits flush?
It's not the cup. It's the crown race. There was some discussion in another thread where someone had a new race made that sat flush.

Nobody cares about those (until September).

also (this is very important) - largest sprocket should always be kept clean :)

Yeah , but they always get lost when people start piping up with "no it's fine to have a bigger ring, it's a gravel bike" etc etc :)

well answered- stick with what i know then and suppress the desire for tan walls on the fast bike.
GP4000S2 comes in a clear-wall version, although it's much darker than Open Corsa SC or other cotton tyres.

Only offered in 23c though, shame.
Are Grand Prix Classics worth a look for those of us fixated on 25c? -

Are Grand Prix Classics worth a look for those of us fixated on 25c?Choose tyres based on quality, not colour; get all-black GP4000S2 in 25C

...proving TM's point...
The Langdale would make a cracking track bike just with fewer spokes and geared right.
12-27 and 50/34 here on a dull-bike™....hangs head in shame...
Need more anodized accent colours... calls tune / ck for advice.
