And I do, there is always a bowl of dry food, I cant leave wet food out for too long so for obvious reasons, so can't do it before going to bed. Besides, she seems to want the interaction and attention as much as the food...
Or to put it another way, she shows who is in charge.
Had a cat that did that and the only way to cure the problem was to lock the cat in the kitchen with food, water and litter box.

We put the new catcam on the wolf at the weekend, and discovered that next door have been leaving food out for him (and whatever cats happen to be around) - he's so busted.
No second dinner for him anymore! Why are next door leaving food out?

Oh yes, her highness newest way of annoying me in the middle of the fucking night is not to jump onto the bed coz I can just remove her. Instead, she jumps up and down, walk back and forth tapping my computers, cables, keys on my desk. She knows damn well I would be too comfortable to get out of bed to stop her from making all sorts of irritating noise... I don't happen to have a kitchen door... shame...

Cats were worshiped in Egypt and yours is channeling an Egyptian cat.
Mine either cuddled my head, and if I moved the meowing disapproval or batting me on the head till I woke up and gave her some attention. She also feng shui things till I gave her attention. She was an amazingly annoying cat at times. I often threatened her with a hession sack, brick and the canal. It was pointless as she didn't understand what I said.

I am thinikng of sending her back to Eqypt, which she would get all the attention at deserves, plus more... What's the postage like send a roughly 4kg furry thing aboard? lol
On a serious note, she only just started doing in the last couple of months, before then, she would come in and waiting patiently nearby until I wake up, she has been with me for abotu 7 months, I think she knows she is here for good so no pretended good behaviours needed anymore...
My boss' ex girlfriend would step on his head, lick (move) his eyelids in attempt to open his eyes to say "oi, I am up, so should you." I stayed over at theirs once and this was exactly what she did to me...

^ Erm, what?! Was she raised by wolves?

Sorry I meant ancient Egypt.
Has anything changed before that is effecting the cat? Maybe a spray bottle to chastise the behaviour. Maybe it is just a phase?
Your boss' ex girlfriends cat behaviour sounds cute until it happens to me. Does the cat do it you and the other half or just you or the other half.

Doesn't matter, I am still sending her back to Egypt... I knew it wasn't modern Egypt... :-P
I hope it's just a phase, like she was meowing endlessly for days to end a while back... I think she might be a little mental...
Boss' ex cat did that to everyone, I only stayed at theirs once and so first time meeting the cat, no problem invading my privacy there... To be fair, I was ever so slightly feared of cats back then, so got worken up by a strange cat at 6am walking on my chest and face was erm... some experience...

This woman should be put in a microwave. Makes me feel fucking sick . Just for a minute, like, to see what happens

You seem about as mentally disturbed as the woman that put the cat in the microwave - A woman that suffers significant mental illness.Do you even engage your brain before you write shit like this?

Patch's in the middle of the night being a fucking annoying cat continues... last night she stood by the end of the bed, waited quietly and patiently until I moved, then she jumped and attacked my feet... she is getting more and more tactical... like a cold blooded killer... I don't know if I should be happy or sad...
Might have to seriously consider posting her to Egypt...

Might have to seriously consider posting her to Egypt...
Every time I see the title of the 'Post Your Pets' thread I think about putting the cat in a Jiffy bag with a few stamps on and dropping her off at the post office.
Notreallyofcourse ;)

I find the toe attacking funny, I have a picture in my mind or your cat strafing your feet awaiting to pounce.
Maybe a water spray?

^ This is exactly what happened... she has also done grabbing my arm towards her face to indicate she wants petting, again 3am in the morning... What is she doing now at almost 11pm when both of us are still up? Well, she is chilling on her (my) chair and has turned on the "do not disturb me" mode...
Funny enough I have actually bought a water gun to try and get rid of a couple of cats that we thought was bullying Patch... never used it for that purpose... might as well make good use of it...

A Jiffy bag maybe a little mean, I was thinking more a proper double wall cardboard box so she is protected and would have plenty of cardboard to chew for her journey...

This page needs more pics. Here is Luna, one of our Somalis.
Managed to get in a fixed gear bike, and within the M25, I’ll give myself a pat on the back.
Note the bike is small, the cat is not huge. -

He (she?) looks awesome! Excuse my ignorance, what's the little harness?
-

He (opie)
It's a puppy harness, we were taking him for a walk in the park. He's generally an indoor cat but we take him to the park and he likes to climb trees.
