I still have this one bookmarked and go back to it every so often.
Such an incredible website - definitely epic win.

LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
Ofcom is now the regulator of online safety and must make sure that platforms are protecting their users. Once the new duties are in effect, following Ofcom’s publication of final codes and guidance, platforms will have to show they have processes in place to meet the requirements set out by the Act. Ofcom will monitor how effective those processes are at protecting internet users from harm. Ofcom will have powers to take action against companies which do not follow their new duties.
As @hippy says - is somewhere like LFGSS ever in actual risk of falling foul of not doing what is necessary to discourage/remove the content covered by the bill? That said, I recognise that this legislation is worryingly broad - and I’m not the one exposed to the risks posed by it.

Multiboard looks great/tempting! I'm currently playing the same game with gridfinity and the 'junk' draw. The whole area looks well considered and planned - which I really need to do instead of bodge on top of bodge in my garage.
Post Christmas plan for me is a hardened hot end and having a go at some more exotic filaments.
-
don't need to bother with the bambu filament, it's mostly rebadged. the printers will print well with pretty much anything you throw at them.
Interesting - i find I have to slow my first few layers down a fair bit with non bambu filament to get acceptable bed adhesion? (Vs. The admittedly very fast bambu speeds.) Otherwise, similarly seamless. eSun is my go to recently.
Otherwise, this entire post is bang on. Totally agree re: AMS and having multiple colours ready to go as opposed to multi colour printing. (Which is exactly what you told me when I asked about the AMS - which I didn’t order when I ordered my P1S, but did within 48 hours of owning it.)
@damitamit I got a P1S in spring this year, it’s been faultless, for functional and decorative bits. Dead pleased.

From the LB invoice:
AR375 Standard Hook UD Paintless Non
Disc - Grooved Graphene Surface 20H/24H
External Hole With Drain Holes With Access
HolesThese are the (my!) platonic ideal rim brake rims, but between buying and building I picked up something in the wiggle fire sale which made these superfluous. Resultantly, these have sat in their dust bags in my garage for around a year and space is needed.
These are listed at $299/rim on the LB website with the grooved brake surface, but there are plenty of 15-30% codes/group buys fair consistently available. (I bought as part of group buy). Taxes Paid Delivery shows as 70 dollars on top of that.
I think with the above in mind SOLD for the pair is a fair price, given new condition and not having to faff about with delivery/wait time etc. I’m happy to facilitate with 5year warranty if needed, which has 4ish years left. At that price I’ll be taking a fair bath on them between shipping and exchange rate (with the concession that none of that is your problem) - and anything less than that I think I’d have to seriously consider just building them.
I’d prefer collection as wheels are awkward to ship. I have a wheel box but heavy preference would go to London buyers. I’m happy to meet at London Bridge/Waterloo/Charing Cross/Cannon Street to facilitate. Can bring either bagged or in a box as you prefer.

Do I need to replace the stealthamajig on SRAM hoses if I just remove and reattach to levers without cutting hoses? SRAM shows the process with cutting hoses - and says must replace - which implies single use. I don’t need to cut hoses, just changing bars with internal routing but assume the replacement is about the compression olive deforming when first tightened?

Yeah, same in store, number sizing on garments but they still go onto S M L hangars etc. Same with all euro sized stuff.
ETA: (Which has to be better than places where you have to set every possibility of size in order to filter by appropriate)
