Selling the bike I never thought I’d sell!

Riding a lot more off road these days and so the Nemo has been used maybe twice in the last year. It will likely be replaced by a ‘fast’ race gravel bike which can also be used on my occasional road excursion.

Overall very good used condition with one or two small marks or chips.

Originally had this built up with Campag Chorus/Record and 50mm Campag Bora and it was an absolutely weapon! It was my race bike for a couple of seasons (never crashed) and it’s comfy on an all day ride too.

£1650 collection either Watford (daytime) or Quainton (evenings/weekends).

I have Halo Vapour GXC in both 700c & 650b (tour version with 36spokes) and so far they've been faultless. 3 or 4 different tyres have all setup tubeless with ease and hold air well when not in use for weeks/months at a time.

When the 650b are on it gets used like a mtb and they're still solid and true. It was between these and some Hope XC/Gravel wheels and the Halos edged it as I prefered the finish and rim profile, no regrets so far.

If you like a quiet freehub these wont' be for you though!

Maybe saying they have 'no place' was a little harsh, there are a few weeks of the year when a slick would be fine! I'm just feeling bitter that it's still muddy :(

Maxxis Ikon 2.2 have been on throughout winter and will stay on for summer too! The hunt for some big 650b slicks was for the 'supermoto' look, stupid I know.

Slicks have no place on #ukgravel ,not in the Chilterns anyway..

Can anyone recommend any 50mm+ slick 650b tyres, google doesn't come up with too many options...

I'm after a set of budget-friendly carbon clinchers (rim brake) with Campag freehub. Not too fussed on depth but somewhere between 30-50mm would be good.

another vote for Bombtrack here, used to have a Hook EXT (steel) and loved it. A bit weighty was it's only slight downfall for me but I guess I could've thrown some money at it to make it more reasonable.

Anyone have a Thomson 27.2 inline they'd like to sell? Or a titanium straight post?

To stop me being tempted back into the mud this will be my winter bike for the foreseeable. With a GRX 2x setup this could easily be the only bike I need.

I think I need to shift forward a bit so the layback seatpost needs to go! Looking for a Thomson inline replacement or maybe something titanium..?

Happy to sell layback once I've found something else if there are no swaps to be had.

Mason ISO? My little bro has a big bro and loves it, I'm tempted by one but think I'm leaning more towards a hardtail as my 2.2" 650b gravel bike covers most other uses..

Can I mount mudguards (SKS Bluemels or similar) to the fork using the bottle cage mounts?

The rear of the frame has all the usual mounts where you'd expect them but nothing on the fork, never fitted guards before so this might be a stupid question!
