  Rather than design a better bike light, I'd say launch a campaign to raise awareness of dynamo lights. IMO most modern LED cycle lights are pretty ok, the main barrier and safety issue is that its hard to remember to charge and put lights on your bike in the first place.

  Because of cultural issues, most UK cyclists aren't aware of the existence of dynamos. I'd just encourage more people to use dynamos in everyday cycling.

  I’m not a lawyer or a politician but I’m pretty sure the purpose of the Act isn’t to shut down all online forums and communities in the UK, we’re talking literally hundreds of thousands of forums. Hell, my local church has an online community forum.

  This seems rather hasty, perhaps see what the deal is when Ofcom release their online tool for checking compliance in January.

  I help to run one of the larger London cycle clubs, we have to deal with risk assessments, safeguarding rules and insurance if something goes wrong, sure it’s admin stuff to do but it’s not impossible. Sounds like people are willing to chip in.

  Everyone’s Tados working ok? I can’t get onto the app, it’s stuck on the startup screen, and weirdly their website doesn’t load? Internet fine for everything else.

  Ok, just found out that the app works if you don’t connect to home WiFi, use 4g. Super weird.

  BikeInn have started resending stuff to the UK. I bought a Secuzed from there a few weeks ago and it came easily without extra Brexit faff. Good prices, and actual availability of excellent dynamo stuff.
