Ok...after a lot of thoughts I decided to sell this frame plus bits.
It's a really sweet bike, the kind that has a story to tell. Dazzan is a guy that has a bike shop in Italy, near my hometown and near a velodrome, before that he was a good track racer([ame]http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octavio_Dazzan[/ame] sorry it's in italian...) he went to moscow olimpic games and raced in the foreigners league of Keirin in japan winning the league for a few years...
after tha he set up the shop and a little team. this is one of the bikes that Cinelli built for his team. he told me it's from the late '80s
I've been using it for 5-6 years and since I moved to london I'm using almost only my other bike..I don't feel it's right to keep this beauty unused in a corner....so I'm selling it with few original components.the size is: seat tube 54.5 tt 55.5
lugs are cinelli and tubing Columbus SL
the paint and stickers are originalI'm selling it with an original Turbo saddle and Galli seatpost, Campagnolo record Headset Miche 165 "compasso d'oro" cranks on a loose bearings BB (should be Galli) with a 51t Campagnolo chainring plus a 41t (recent) chainring, a 5cm stem with a very narrow riser.
probably some will be disappointed about the hole on the fork...I did not drill it. Octavio Dazzan used to take us to train on the road and so a brake was put on...
I'll include the brake modified to fit (mounted on a rised plate)
the frame has a very tight geometry, can fit 23c tyre max.when I moved to Uk the friend that packed it up and sent to me did not remove the chain and it was pressed on the chainstay denting it. a tiny repair was neded and super ted did it, was a two mm brazing, definitely nothing structural.
I'd ask 370 £ for the lot...
thanks for checking it out!
Marco

HGV are not the evil. are just big and heavy vehicles as opposite to cyclists that are tiny and "naked" (in the sense of no protection at all in case of a collision). in the same way is clear that no road user or driver wants to kill somebody. distraction is one of the main reasons of dangerous situations on the roads.
at the same time lorries are necessary to keep this city running and as business seems to be the main concern of our society a ban is not an option, probably a regulation would not be "accepted" either or drivers would be pushed to move faster in the available windows to maximize productivity.
I think that the most productive thing we can do is make new or unexperienced cyclists aware of what are the dangerous situation on the roads.
we are a forum with over 5000 active members and most ride in london.
what about using all this people to distribute something like a leaflet, brochure or whatever where we explain basic points of cycling safely in a heavy traffic environment. give it away at traffic lights, put it on every single bike chained around...pass it on in some way.
I know it's a lot of paper and we would need to prepare it and some how find the money to print it but I'm convinced would be a good direct targeting.not a solution but would rise awareness.what do you think?

my two pence are that there is a lot of people that ride being afraid of traffic rather than realize they are part of traffic.
lot of people look for the "half way" Ie "I ride close to the pavement cos I don't feel comfortable riding in the middle of a lane. staying close to the pavement I feel half a way still a pedestrian"
this is a very dangerous attitude that brings people in dangerous positions on the road... -
is terrible to have accidents like this happening so often. I feel sick.
i pass almost every morning down there. I tend to stay always in the center of the lane but there is a column of cyclists filtering on the left.
If we want to promote some kind of action I'm ready to put in my time and my skills.rest in peace.

I know, not bike related but I think it's close to brick lane enough...
:-PA friend of mine is looking to rent his studio space, his contract is expiring in two month, he is looking for somebody to take over the contract from now, the studio is already empty. this would allow the person moving in to have a "taste" for two month and then, in case, to do a new contract for one year.
the studio is not massive but a nice space, would suit perfectly a graphic or fashion designer or photographers/artists.
Sunbury workshops,
4m by 6m studio
Some outside space
Loads of natural daylight
Off street parking
Double door entrance
Creative Community
Brilliant location.rent is 450 pm negotiable + electricity

you can try sendean in soho, website below, I've had a couple of old camera's fixed by them, they are not exactly cheap as chips, but get the job done...
I deeply hate that place... they kept me waiting for 3 cameras to be cleaned and checked for one week, then said it would take other two weeks. then I found out that the cameras were in Tunbridge Wells, I had to get them couriered back on my expences, sent out to John camera repair (east london, amazing guy for medium format and mechanical cameras) got them back 3 days later (over a weekend) for a third of the price that sendean cameras quoted...
I hate them.

the stalking idea is nice... maybe adding Hippy's dogs...
anyway the will to be vindictive is pretty strong...but the employer would not care much..it's a professional use more than recreational..she snorts half of colombia while working in a pub..can figure out why she does not have money to pay rent...
I was just hoping that the work address would be enough for the claim.. -
Hah... no the name is not Delphina...
@hippy: dibs on the dogs, wold you split?her problem...well... just happy abuse of drugs... so it's not a big deal to know better than her what is going on :P
thanks a lot for the advice...the letter to the family sounds good. the dogs sounds even better... but i'll still give the letter a try first..
hey crane... cos i'm just not using it and it's a pain...
