I'm selling two Campy Record parts from their 10 speeds groupset :

A pair of carbon crankset complete with rings, BB and all original bolts
Arms are 175mm
Rings are 53 / 39
BB is BSC 1.37 x 24
Great condition, only a couple small lacquer chips on the arms + light marks. Rings have a decent amount of life left but a little anodization chips coming off (mainly on the 39). Asking €150 + Shipping from France.

12-25 with the 4 biggest sprockets made of titanium, complete with all spacers (they look Ti as well, not sure if they are) and steel lockring.

Thanks @Netakure my idea was basically to make a 40-30 (yeah i know but it's relevant for my riding on 9 speeds), so with a road 40 as GRX doesn't offer this size (30 inner exists as GRX so shoulnd't be a problem). Seems i'll turn to good old TA as the cheapest + lightest option for unusual pairing. Thanks @BrickMan didn't know about these "marks", makes sense as brands would rather sell new rings that maintain compatibility unfortunately.

The document you shared shows a Shimano 4 bolts 110 BCD Asymmetric type of pattern : do you know if this is the same for all 4 bolts, 110BCD asymetric Shimano cranksets ? Would an Ultegra 6800 ring (4 bolts, 110 BCD asymetric) fit a GRX crankset in this respect ?

I'm wondering wether older 4 bolts / 110 BCD chainrings (like Ultegra 6800 for instance) would fit a GRX crankset. BCD is the same, what about the asymmetric design ?
Would like to widen the choice for big rings beyond the couple GRX specific ones available.

I would like to retrofit my 2014/15 rear Frm Venus disc hub from 11sp XD Frm freehub to a 10sp HG.
They used to be offered in two different versions, and Frm still stock their 10sp HG freehub, but cost about 85€. I'm looking for cheaper, 2nd hand alternatives but don't know what would actually fit. Any idea ?

Ahahaha no i definitely won't. And i'm no sponsored rider that have his bike swapped for a new one every half season :)
Anyway, remember i'm not trying to convince carbon enthusiasts to change their mind and go for steel or wathever, just find a non carbon fork that could suit my frame :)

@aniki Agreed ! Carbon isn't inherently flawed, it's even a great material used in aircraft industry etc, but the way it is (mass) produced for cycling makes it potencially unreliable, obvioulsy polluting etc. Unfortunately by looking around the internet, you can find as many examples of it's toughness as it's weakness. I would rather avoid it, but i can probably live with it as well :)
@Lolo didn't know about that uncompatibility, i will look into this. Regarding weight, by choosing steel over carbon i already accept this flaw :)
@r.hobbs yep several could match in terms of looks but i didn't find any with the correct AtoC / Offset measurements...
@cake yes this was on my list (pending legs thickness measurements, seems a bit slim on some pics) but it seems sold out !

@PhilDAS you're totally right but on the other hand it is also the norm in some cycling circles to buy a new bike every two seasons, not something i'm into very much.
@lynx I don't know what's best to be honest, but yes my 531 frameset is still going strong 30+ years after it was welded.
@psg1ben that's a good point ! Some brands even refuse to build carbon frames (a little hypocritical to some extent perhaps but still...)

Oh ! Many reasons ranging from the way it's made to it's questionable longevity, but the main one is that i intend to use that bike without worrying too much about scratches and marks...
I know there's a passionate debate about carbon, and i won't try to convince anyone that one material is superior to others, but that's just my taste :)

I just got my hands on a Ti frame aimed at "gravel" with a beefy 44mm (internal) head tube. I'm now looking for a fork with mounts. Considering i'd rather avoid carbon and i'm not wealthy enough to go full Ti, are there any steel options that would suit this kind of headtube (i mean avoiding the ugly-ish fat headtube / slim fork combo) ?

I tried shipping a pair of wheels last May (so just a bit above the 150cm rule) and it wasn't accepted , had to switch carrier for a more expensive one. Maybe it just depends on the type of office you ship from (size, staff etc). Thanks !

How do you manage to ship a full bike box through La Poste these days ? They adopted size restrictions on parcels they handle due to Covid (height + lenght + depth < 150cm). Do you have a trick to subvert this ?
