Ok so here is my opinion about CREE XML T6:
PROS:
- 12 hours battery in medium mode, +/- 7hrs in the most powerful mode with a good 10 000 mAh battery pack.
- bargain price (10€)
- USB compatible (you can choose a reliable powerbank by your own)
- very very very very bright.
CONS:
- Need to be modifiyed to not dazzle people sharing the road with you
- better optics would be great
- that's chinese -- could easily be broken without reason at every time
- 12 hours battery in medium mode, +/- 7hrs in the most powerful mode with a good 10 000 mAh battery pack.

I'm using them since years.
Incredible rear light. Really, so fucking small (picture this evening if you want)
front is pretty good too because unlike Luxos at something like 10-15kph you've got maximum power which is good during long climb.
The only negative part is the mount, and the wires which need to be really well soldered. Water came easily.. -

The big point with doval is that you actually could push less and have the same power. I try to explain myself.
With a regular (circular) chainring, you need to be constant. With an Oval, you could easily have a dead point and then put more watts. So it's helping you to climb with a smaller cassette at the same speed / pace, or with a bigger cassette, faster than with a circular one. -
@hippy Are you crazy?
