Having a bit of trouble finding a replacement for my freehub. The cassette has caused some damage on the body.
I think the old hub is from formula. It has come off a Marin MTB bike.
No numbers or indication of spec for the old one.
Looking for a reasonably priced alternative. Any help appreciated.
Thanks

@Chak Usually comes from tight ITB or glutes pulling the knee out of its natural line during the pedal stroke. Have someone film you from front and behind and see if your knees are dropping in towards the top tube. Narrow stance (feet too close to cranks) can also be an issue.

Had a fit with these guys last week which was fantastic. Diego the owner was very welcoming and could have easily sold me a new saddle and shoes but is more concerned with customer satisfaction than his profits. They fly Guiseppe the Italian in once a month for the traditional fits who seems to have centuries of experience and made me feel like a pro.
After the initial session there are two follow up sessions once you have ridden some distance. Total cost is £169.
The studio is out by Bishops Stortford so easily accessible from London Liverpool Street.
Also take your secret credit card as they have some very nice Italian stuff in the show room.

Can't recommend anywhere specific but my advice would be stay away from the computer fits (Retul etc). Go for a traditional fit with an experienced fitter.
I'm going here tomorrow.

@hippy was your switch to mid foot a gradual change or did you just make the adjustment and ride? Looking into it myself as I've also had achilles problems this year. From what I have read it feels weird when trying to accelerate rapidly but is an ideal position for long rides. Any advice on which shoes allow this much adjustment? Need something narrow like a Sidi or Mavic.

Does anyone have any bike fitting or purchasing experience with http://www.racerrosabicycles.co.uk ?
Looking at a fit with them next week and they use the old fashioned way as opposed to the Retul computer fit which I have had a bit of a nightmare with.
@hippy does the helpers ride still count as BRM and allow you to qualify for PBP? A friend is stuck and is considering asking the organiser.
