@hippy not sure what I'm racing yet but it's an option.

@skinny I know you didn't. I wasn't getting at you, just explaining his reasons.
I don't think he will struggle to get riders. If anything I think he will be overwhelmed with entries. With all this dot watching and hype self supported endurance racing is definitely growing. As long as too many people don't hear how badly you suffered then I think they will give it a go.
I suggested 8 weeks post TCR for those who drop out or want something later in the year. More of a challenge also as you'd have to deal with adverse weather.

Yeah Transatlantic is Adrian O'Sullivans race. TCR and TransAm finisher last year and this year respectively. The price only looks high as the others are so cheap. He's not out to make money, just cover his costs and give people more race options. Your right @skinny, the time of year is tricky as there are lots of different factors.
-
@skinny you reckon its pricey?

@hippy I'm home, I'm alive! Shocking ordeal but I some how got home under 80 hours. I think going with the midfoot cleat position at the 970km mark helped me get home. I had to buy the trainers in some town as my achilles was getting facked up by my normal ones. Ankles were supported by scotch tape until I found a decent medic.

No. I'm basing this on a solo 43 hour 950km back to Ireland last month with a 3 hour sleep on the ferry. I imagine riding in a pack makes a substantial difference but I may be underestimating the amount of climbing.
I'll be tucked in behind a tandem and try not to get carried away and exhausted in the first 300km.

Scultura- Ciaran- Merida, 80 hours but aspirations of going sub 50!! Brave or stupid, time will tell.

Currently replacing a bottom bracket on a Rosini frame. The one I have taken out is a Mavic mobile fixie which is seized but serviceable at some stage.
Can anyone advise a good bottom bracket to replace this with. The BB shell appears to be 70mm and I'm assuming Italian thread.
Let me know if any other info would help.

So I have a Trimax Vision crank and want to convert to the Shimano Ultegra 6800 so that I can use a stages powermeter.
I have found these online and was wondering if its just a matter of plugging them into the 6806-2rs bearings and installing the Shimano crank?
All advice appreciated.

Would anyone have one of these they could lend me?
Would really appreciate it as can't afford to fork out for one at the minute.
Thanks
