So finally got some sense from Swiss side.
'The axle is captive by the bearings. Normally it is not a component which ever needs to be removed. However, to remove it, it needs to be pressed out with the bearings (on one side). Those bearings would need replacing. Care should be taken not to damage the aluminium axle and threads when pressing out.'
Might sound like a complete novice here but have yet to see a tool to push out an axle?

@hippy hope you had loads of apple crumble and beer afterwards. Need to keep that weight up so we can keep riding together.

Has anyone got any experience with servicing these?
Trying to change the ceramic bearings in the hub body as they are already worn. Only bought new in February.
The problem I'm having is the axle doesn't want to come out easily to allow the removal of the bearings and I doubt it should have to be forced.
Swiss side provide no technical info on their website and haven't replied to any of my emails.

Got both in N18 if any good. You could keep the adapter as I've got a few.
