Happy Friday folks..
@Regal I’m really pleased with the SJE093, doomed crystal and polishing work on indexes gave so much depth to that dial.
Excellent time keeping, great size, it’s becoming one of a my favorite..
@ejay2.0 stunning, never had the chance to try one, have you seen the ploprof anniversary edition in the flesh ?

Thanks folks, took some time to find the right combo fork/stem/headset as I was looking for something visually slick..
@spotter indeed ! Not many Ti frame pomp on the market tough..
@damskodonny I have to admit that stem is a great match with the frame, for the seatpost a Record Ti could probably do better..
About the fork, got it NOS few years ago from a bike shop owner shutting down his activity, it was waiting for the right build, no branding but full carbon and great finish..
Zipp 202 would looks ace but certainly out of pocket, got some NOS Mavic Open Ceramic 28 holes waiting for a pair of hub (Record 10s but hard to find in 28, or probably Hope RS4 silver)
@user75204 great project, any picture..?
IMO you should go for Ahead steerer, clearly improve front rigidity and allow to save weight..You’re looking for a titanium aspect saddle and tape ?

Maybe not porn but at least unusual.
It’s a VAR Preciray building/truing stand.
Allowing to round and align at the same, with a x3 visual amplification at the « repère »
So if you’re straight to more or less 1 millimeter regarding the « repère » the wheel is actually straight to 0.33mm
His inventor Pierre Rensonnet won the 1966 Concours Lépine with it.
It allow to build clean wheelset. The tool weight a tone and seems bombproof -

IMO the good one is the Milspec Hodinkee, same as the one above, except it’s no date, and the crown less side of the case isn’t engraved..
Different bezel ring also (thinks it’s better on the 2017 milspec)
Never seen one in person, can’t find any for sale at the moment..
Resale value completely unreasonable but I really like it..

@hang_on_voltaire damned that’s a good one, I’ve been turning around a blue 79090 for quite a while now, passed on one a few weeks ago (but was very close)
It’s still on the wishlist !Yours looks great, those blue sub are just too good..
No date > Date lollipop are probably my favorite (94010 & 76100)
Still on the hunt..
@Regal no wrong choice between the two, but both is too redundant, I can’t get that..
Tried the 093 on a perlon strap, surprisingly comfortable on the wrist, serious bracelet option.. (I didn’t really like caoutchouc strap)
A premium single pass black nato would probably do the job too..

@Regal Congratulation, curious to have a more detailed side by side comparison of the SLA and the SJE..
Mine is slowly growing on me, wasn’t sure at the beginning..
Really love the dial/dome combo, super shiny and reflective due to polished indexes..
Haven’t worried much about time keeping but seems decent, power reserve is a bit light compared to modern rolex, but it’s not the same price range tough..
In the sunlight..
Still in honeymoon with that dial..
