So, still hunting for the S-works version, but this will satisfy the blood-lust for now, about to start building today, going to use really random parts for the moment then swap them for better ones later, will probably end up with Fulcrum 5's and an oldish ultegra or 105 groupset in the end, anything more will be overkill i think, unleast until i find its S-works counterpart.
@Dick I managed to find a headset today, still gonna have to try and get the old cups out though they seem cemented in!
Anybody know what the SLX stands for?

@Dick Yes i won it man, doesn't have the S-works wank factor but for £90 I'm not complaining! @jupiz dude thanks so much for sending the link! I had already bought it by the time i saw this message but you pulled an absolute blinder sending it anyway! Cheers lad.
Think the BB shell may be knackered :/, plus the included headset was literally DUST on the inside, but I'm hoping a pressfitt bb and new headset will get it on its way. gonna build it up with crap parts for the time and then upgrade part by part when I've got the funds.

Inspired by Anidel's Holdsworth project and then this Ron Cooper build: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/133015/?offset=57625#comment8615335 made me wanna add some modern tech.
Decided to picture log the whole thing, so, here it is...
So, heres the bike before, some good kit on it but a little bit dated,
Picked up a new 105 group from Evans..
Stripped the bike down and installed the shifters and callipers
Cheeky decal shot..
Time to throw on the bottom bracket..
Wheels finally came in the post..
Front and rear mech installed..
Starting to come together..
Part two coming up...

Stumbled across this on the interwebb.. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/limits-the-world-s-smartest-cycling-power-meter
obviously i don't work for the company or anything, but i think its a cool product, so, if your into that thing, you can get it at a pretty good price right now, another 8 months for delivery though.
What do you think?

Also do i have to tag you guys names or can you just see it anyway? Im kind of new here.Lug lining pen looks like a great tool, may have to go for that now!
+OneLessCardigan did you get good results with the lacquer? Im scared that it'll run over my new paint job, but i know its a must for putting decals/lug linings on anyway.
Still hunting, if @Dick 's was a bit bigger, trust me i'd be there!
