Thanks everyone for your help!
@Heldring: True, this wasn’t done quite quickly and I might have used the wrong estimation there.
@dave4: Thanks for your opinion I’ll have a look at the thread
@noBlakes: I’m looking for a 50-52cm I think being 5”7 and my current 54 Caad8 is too big for me. The Caad10 in small sizes do seem rare on the Bay or Gumtree though which pushed me to try and see if I could find one new instead … I’ll have a look at the wheels thanks
@miro_o: The problem with buying full retail is that I don’t get to build my own bike which I think is a good experience and I also don’t get all the parts I want and have to change a lot of stuff straight after buying it which is not great. How much do you want for your black Antares? PM me
@Dammit: Are they easily available in the UK? Would you just buy the rim and get it built by someone? What about the Flo60? Too heavy?
@rive_gauche: Not a big fan of frame actually

Hey guys!
I'm in the process of building my first bike and have come with a build for around £700 and wanted your opinion on the different parts. Don't hesitate to suggest other parts if you think some are shit or could be replaced by something better in the same price range.
Dolan Track Champion : Frame + fork + seatpost + headset
Miche primato advance 49t (Crankset)
Deda zero1 stem
Deda Pista Dropbar
Saddle : something around £50
Shimano Dura Ace Track Single Sprockets
Wheelset (Miche pistard) to be changed to H+Son archetype as an upgradeThanks for your help!

Then look outside Dolan. What exactly are you looking for in terms of geometry? What do you intend to do with the bike? i.e riding style, distance.
Also, budget?Commuting and also night/weekend rides. Don't know yet about distance. In terms of geometry I'm looking for something quite simple. Had a look at that earlier on : http://wearefactoryfive.com/frames/f550.html
Budget-wise it would be around £600-700

Would these be any different to wheels ordered from Yoleo or FarSports in your opinion?
