I did before, didn't see anything bad. Now I see one message on ebay. I do see a lot of dead fleas around my cat. My cat is licking herself like crazy like one would expect. Flea or nit comb is impossible on my cat. Just not possible. That would mean a grooming salon but I doubt they would take her with fleas. I will start killing them manually.
Edit: There are two version of that spot on stuff, one for cats, one for dogs. if you use the dogs one on cats they die.
Edit: Apparently, if you do the search in my language, it seems like a good product with highly positive ratings. If you search for it in English, it's a product that kills cats. Will call vet first thing in the morning.

I need some help. I don't know what to do.
Two weeks ago, I went on a weekend trip. Camp site, tents etc. When I came back, set up my tent in the living room so it could dry. Last weekend, I saw something tiny next to my cat. Some bug. Didn't think much off it. Just one. It was a tiny flea (didn't knew back then). On monday it got worse, figured out it was fleas. Got this "Bob Martin Clear Spot On" anti flea formula for cats (no pet shop in this town, that was available at the supermarket). I cleaned my entire house front to back several times, vacuumed everything. Now everything is covered in a layer of salt (read online that that's very good because it dries them out and they die. My cat is covered in huge black fleas. I just checked, I saw more than 5 walking over her shoulders and I have no idea what's inside her thick fur.
I have never seen those things before. She never had them, ever. What am I supposed to do now? I'm going insane, my cat is going insane. Lucky for me she stays downstairs now, I haven't seen one upstairs yet.
I hope someone can advice.

I quite like the looks on this one. Paid 5 euro's for it (it's Chinese).
Simple battery powered watch. It's a bit fast. About 2 minutes in the last week. I like the simple look. Not the greatest finish, but it's a 5 euro's Chinese watch, what can you expect. The strap looks great and I think it's leather. Not entirely convinced about that.

well, in the country that's a great option. I moved from a village to a city, but I still don't let my cat go outside. I just think it's too dangerous for a cat to be around cars. Also, she's too sweet. Someone might take her. She's my cat. I want her to sleep on my chest, I want her to sleep on my bed and be able to hug her at all times.

I think the problem isn't that she doesn't want to get petted or something, she just doesn't know I'm home.
A few hours ago, she walked upstairs, jumped on my lap again, slept like a baby for an hour (including snoring, meowing, moving legs, like she always does when she's sleeping very deep). She just doesn't hear me, so she doesn't know I'm around.
She still makes noises when she sees me, like she always does. When she sees me, she makes a small noise to let me know she's there. Really useful at night when the lights are off. I always pet her when she makes the noise.

I think I figured out what's wrong. I can't believe I didn't notice this before. She went deaf :S
"In January, she just fell over. This was on a sunday evening. I took her to the emergency vet, who diagnosed an inner ear infection. I had to give her antibiotics for 14 days."
That might have caused it I assume. It's weird because she still meows when she sees me. She just doesn't respond. I tried to wake her up this morning because I put down wet food which she loves. She normally runs towards me when she hears the sound of the packaging opening. She didn't do that this time. I ended up shouting just to see if she would wake up. She didn't. I tried youtube video's of angry cats after she woke up. no response.

Yeah it might just be stress, never thought about it. I have 6 or 7 of those scratching poles with fake fur lined box underneath or on top of it. She doesn't use the boxes though. She likes to sleep on the old fridge that I have yet to sell. It's in the living room at the moment. There, or in a corner, under the lack tables, under the living room table, at the carpet in front of front door and a few other places.
I'll go to another vet to be sure

Stress isn't wacko, just weird for her.
She doesn't go well with other animals. I wouldn't mind borrowing a puppy to see if that helps, but I'm afraid that she might kill the puppy. She doesn't like other cats, dogs, tiny children (age 2 and lower) near her. Anything she might be able to kill goes down.

Second opinion sounds like something I can do.
Maybe it has something to do with her history of this year. I actually forgot about it, even when my bank account doesn't.
In January, she just fell over. This was on a sunday evening. I took her to the emergency vet, who diagnosed an inner ear infection. I had to give her antibiotics for 14 days.
After that, I went for a routine check and although my old vet said her teeth were fine, the new one showed that they weren't. They had to pull 3 of them. At the normal location, they figured out a bit late they couldn't do it because of the lack of equipment. So they woke her up and a few days later she had to go to another location.
A few days later, the fur on her jaw was red, so I took her to the vet, she had an abcess there which went open a tiny bit. It was drained and I had to give her painkillers for a week and antibiotics for 2 weeks.
Besides that, I moved into this house a year ago and I'm not done yet. I'm almost done building a new kitchen, and I'm doing one project after the other.
I didn't even have a cold.

Maybe someone knows this.
My cat has been a bit grumpy. She doesn't like to get touched just in front of her hips anymore. She bites. She's a bit distant. It's strange behavior, a month or 2 ago, I couldn't get her more than a meter away from me. She eats fine, she sleeps fine, she drinks fine, she pees fine, she poops fine. She runs up and down the stairs, jumps on lot's of stuff. There doesn't appear to be anything wrong.
I've been to the vet a few times, but they say she's in perfect health. She's also acting tough there. She acts different from how she acts at home. They took some blood, ran some tests, nothing is wrong. They say they can't do anything. For years she followed me around the house, always sitting and sleeping on my lap when I'm home, always wanted attention.
I don't get what's wrong. It's a huge behavior change.

It really makes it look better than it is. I hated it from the moment I saw it. I'm going to knock down a wall and the kitchen will be extended on the right side so the cabinet in the corner is not going to keep looking like that.
Besides, the new kitchen isn't finished yet. It was ugly, dated, didn't function properly. Everything was bad.

I bought a house a few months ago. It came with this kitchen, it's from the 50's.
(should have cleaned up before I took the pics but hey)
Someone decided to get a new kitchen eventhough the old one wasn't that old. I could get the kitchen for free and only have to pay a seriously small amount of money for the equipment that came with it.
First I removed the kitchen and started to work on plastering the wall:
Retreived the kitchen:
Electrician replaced the cupboard and fixed a lot of wiring issues (wasn't done when I took this picture):
On wall outlets on the top, the ones that are visible are build in:
After that was done it was time to install the kitchen:
I still have a LOT of work to do. At the end, all equipment will be built in:
Dishwasher
Electrican oven
Microwave
FridgeWhen this project is done, I will get contractor to do the following:
Knock down two walls on the ground floor for an open floor plan and redo the ceiling as well.
Extend the shed a bit and put an electronic garage door in.
I will clean the backyard and remove all the gravel, cover it with and and put tiles in there.
New fence with a door big enough so I can put a car in there.
I will have some other stuff to do as well, I think.

I'm impressed.
Not using the alarm feature but if you wan't it, it's incredibly loud. The light works great so far. I've been to the pub a few times with it. The rear light is very bright, controlled by a remote and it's charged over USB. I did have to use my belt grinder on the allen key to make it work. I live in a small village and the road to the pub doesn't have any streetlights but there are cars driving there and they drive pretty fast so having decent lights is required. I got 2 lights in the rear and 2 in the front, flashlight style in the front and this thing in the rear and two normal ones that you click on. Reason I have the combo is just in case a light fails I got spare on the bike. Everything is glued on my bike, works great :)

Yeah I will contact them first thing in the morning
Any tips regarding what to do with my house? Salt seems to be working. Found a lot of dead ones.
