I have this lovely Argos track bike which I raced years back as a u14 / u16. Over the last year I've started to use it down Herne Hill, but it's a 52 and well too small, causing niggling-to-moderate back pain. And hence the bastardisation to make it bigger.

In pretty decent nic. Bought off Luke Rowe's dad, believe it was peddled pretty rapidly by Luke at Newport for a year of his youth, in about 2009

Ideally I want to find some freakish situation where someone has a circa 55cm (I'm 5"10) frameset for a straight swap, or swap + up to 100£

Aware fishing frowned upon by the forum but beg you have mercy, I am a financially humble track lover looking for a ride

I'm the second owner, bought around 2009/2010 from a bloke who had raced it for a season or two from new. I raced it for a few seasons, it went into storage, then was used again for lots of miles 2015-2020. The miles show and there are signs of wear across the whole bike, but damage is cosmetic only. It has the following issues which contribute to low price;

• Star nut slightly rusted
  
• BB needs replacing
  
• Bottle cage nuts rounded, cage stuck on and missing one but
  
• Chipped paint and wear

I have owned a pair of Mavic Ksyrium SSC's for the last ten years and love them to bits. Tragically the rear rim has just started to crack..!
Mavic website is not recognising the serial number (because they're so ancient?) and I wonder if anyone has advice about where I could find exact measurements to work out if the rim is available to be replaced?? Obviously if anyone has one lying around that would be ideal...
