A friend had both of these stolen from the stairwell of their flat in Limehouse last week.
The Maruishi is nothing special (just annoying to have it pinched) but the Brompton is really nice, 1st generation model (I think?) with some sentimental value as it belonged to their Grandfather who was a big cyclist.
If anyone sees either of these anywhere please let me know - thanks!

Some lovely person decided to alleviate me from the burden of having nice things by stealing my Thomson seat post and Fizik Arione Wingflex on Sat night/ Sun morning, locked up next to the bus stop outside The Surgery Medical Centre on Southgate Rd N1.
Seatpost is a Thomson Elite Layback 27.2 cut to 300mm (previously belonging to the wonderful @BareNecessities), it has a distinguishing feature in that it has no max insertion line so I think it was probably 410mm before it was cut down.
Fizik Arione Wingflex is an older version with all leather covering including the strip down the middle of the seat (maybe the Ti model?), has some wear marks I'd recognise and the leather upper is peeling off from the shell slightly on the underneath at both 'wings'. Don't have any great pics of mine but it's the same as these
Obviously a long shot but if anyone sees either of these being hawked down Brick Lane or similar, give me a shout/ give whoever's selling them a thump on the nose.

Thanks again to @BareNecessities for organising yesterday, great to meet more friendly people and put some usernames to bikes/faces. Thanks for putting up with me and my pedal troubles, especially @mmccarthy without whom I would still be clipped into my bike in a bush somewhere on Wellington Hill.

@CrookCV @MattG87 thanks guys!
Price drop - now £420

Certainly no need to apologise, I had a great time - was just concerned that I was slowing everyone else up. It's all good experience and I have a better idea of what to expect for next time.
I was getting a bit of a kicking from dragging myself up those hills :-)
You're not the only one, I need better gearing or better legs or something...!
-
Super late to post this now but thanks to @BareNecessities and everyone who was there on Saturday for such a great day. That was my first forum ride and everyone was really friendly - thanks for putting up with my lack of gears/slowness/crashing/mechanicals.
Any advice on how not to lose people from the group would be appreciated. Dropping someone due to mechanical issues is to be expected, but I've never experienced people disappearing through having followed a different track :-/
I was definitely responsible for splitting the group up a couple of times, I ended up sticking to the back of the pack cause I was struggling with some of the more rooty trails and I think people in front waited up for me which caused a sort of concertina effect where they slowed down to wait for me but lost the people in front of them.
Me and @7Üp ended up taking a different track cause I bottled going down a drop and was looking for a different route down and he waited up for me. By the time we came to the fork in the route you guys must have taken you would have been a fair distance ahead of us and we were unlucky and picked the wrong route.
So yeah, really lack of experience/confidence on my part, first time on the trails and all, but I learned a lot on Saturday and I'll be better prepared for next time.

Hi all,
Sadly the time has come to sell this, it was my first track bike and has always been a bit too big for me. The geometry is fast and responsive, it's fairly light and it's a lot of fun to ride. The build is as follows:
Frame and Forks: Chesini Iljo Keisse 58cm
Top Tube ctc: 58cm
Seat Tube ctc: 58cm
Seat Tube ctt: 60cmFrame and fork are made from Dedacciai Com 12.5 tubing, frame has Italian threaded bottom bracket and takes a 26.8cm seatpost. Fork has Columbus stamped dropouts.
The frame has nice tight clearances and this distinctive triangular/teardrop shaped downtube.
The frameset was painted by Frank Hoste, a Belgian ex pro cyclist (and Tour de France Green Jersey winner) who started a custom paint shop after he retired from racing. Het Verzet ('the resistance/the gear/gearing' in Dutch) are a bicycle rental company based just outside Ghent and I think these were made in honour of Iljo Keisse, Belgian track and road cyclist currently with Etixx–Quick-Step. From what I understand, the frameset originally belonged to a velodrome/ track cycling club in Flanders (possibly the local Kuipke Velodrome, home of the Six Days of Ghent race). I emailed Frank a while back to try to find out more info about the frame but never got a reply.
Components are:
Crankset: Campagnolo Record Pista 165mm with 49t chainring
Chain: KMC Kool
Bottom Bracket: Campagnolo Centaur
Headset: Neco
Stem: TF Imports
Bars: Profile Design Airwing
Seatpost: Kalloy Uno
Saddle: Leather Cinelli UnicanitorFront wheel: Gipiemme (or possibly rebadged Ambrosio Alu Splinter) deep section rim and low flange hub. When I bought the bike the previous owner told me it was NOS Gipiemme but I'm not completely sure of the model. There was some discussion on this in the 'Can you help to identify these frames, bikes or parts?' thread.
Rear wheel: Mavic cxp22 laced to Formula hub, Sapim spokes. Profile Lockring and Halo 19t cog. Previous owner told me he though the rim was Velo Orange which it may be as it's slim and boxy like their rims but the walls of Velo Orange rims are not machined so I'm thinking this is a cxp22.
Tyres: Panaracer RiBMo PT with plenty of life left in them
Pedals: Worn Odyssey twisted BMX pedals with Veganski straps
Overall the condition is very good, the frame and forks have some paint chips and scratches from locking up but no rust. The front wheel doesn’t sit dead centre under the fork crown, this is very nit picky as it's only about 1mm off - hopefully you can see this in the attached image. The fork has a very small dent on the inside of the left fork arm, I've had this checked out by 3 different LBS and everyone is in agreement that there is no structural damage and the fork still steers true. The bike was serviced recently and everything is running smooth.
I’d like
£440£300 for the complete bike. I'm based in Hackney, I’d rather not post at the minute, unless there is no local interest. Please PM me rather than dibs, if you would like to see more photos or have any questions please get in touch. Thanks! -

@ColnagoDaft @Carabo Sorry haven't checked this thread for a while, thanks for your help with the wheel. I think it's fairly likely to be one or the other of your suggestions - you certainly helped narrow it down a lot!
-
Thanks @ColnagoDaft - you may well be right although the Ambrosio wheels in the link are 650c and 18h and mine is 700c and 16h. I should have mentioned mine are clinchers too and the Ambrosio are tubs, any ideas if they made a clincher model too?
As they're 16h do you think it's possible it may be a Gipiemme Tecno with a newer sticker on it? They don't look exactly the same but it's close. The two holes on the rim, on opposite sides don't seem to be on the Tecnos either. I found these from random googling which are supposedly Gipiemme/Dodici. They have the holes in the rim on both sides, but the valve hole is in the wrong place...
Thanks for your help :) -

These bikes are great, sure you'll have a lot of fun on this! TRP CX 8.4s are a solid choice, be interested to hear what others think of the RR 511 rims as I'm looking to build an SSCX wheel set at the minute too.
Wouldn't bother with aluminium cogs personally, they tend to wear very quickly in my experience (although I've not tried the ones you've mentioned). I'd go steel and either Chris King or Wolf Tooth stainless steel if you want something bling or Surly/ Andel if you want cheap and cheerful.
