I had some similar trousers but I couldn’t handle the look of an elastic waistband, I felt like a toddler.
I nabbed one of these brown Paynter Harris tweed raglan overcoats, popped-collar-tastic !

Ahhh, good reminder, thanks. I did get 10kgs thrown in with the grill but been meaning to check those guys out as there not too far from me.
@NotThamesWater A couple of hundred quid doesn’t get much from a fabricator these days! Would make a good diy project if time was cheap… -

I’ve been sitting on my hands for a while refusing to cough up for a konro grill but two beers + Black Friday, and I caved.
Need to get some sake and then chicken skewers is all I’ll eat for the rest of 2024.

That's a good shout, I have an older navy pair of UW which I quite like and reckon I can sneak over to Coal Drops Yard this week... Thanks!
@withered_preacher I might even iron a crease in them for extra Ewwwwwwww
@Tenderloin Beams possibly a bit too boxy but I'll drop into End and see if they've got them in stock... cheers.
@sacredhart Not knocking M&S but the styles might verge a bit on the conservative, I will investigate though.

Who's doing chinos which are a bit nicer than Uniqlo? Similar style please to this pair I bought & returned from CC because they've sewn in a really long zip so it looks like you're wearing a codpiece when you walk*.

Do you guys use chatGPT via a web browser or an app? I'm a bit confused by the myriad of choices on the Apple Store and can't tell if they're the legit 'openAI' version. #allrightgrandad

Ok, that’s good to know, thanks. Most of mine are black ink 1995-2000 so I’m sure ink standards have improved since.
I’d get the lot covered if I could be arsed but I only become conscious of them when I take my kid swimming. Me and half the other dads with faded questionable body art.
MRI is tomorrow so I’ll feedback, tbh I’m more worried about all the angle grinding sparks I’ve had removed from my eyes in A&E.
Although this thread started as a nostalgic look back at our jumpers-for-goalposts childhoods, it’s definitely morphed into general midlife huffing .
With that in mind, I’m balls deep in my personal existential crisis so anyone else used the Death Clock app?
