Yep, @spotter is right, @Ecunard and I are planning on organising this... and this is a good reminder, so i'll get a suggested date put up in the next couple days (it'll be on a Saturday evening).

I wanted to organise it as absolutely loved the one Dropout led in 2012, so was hoping to do something similar (without stepping on anyones toes!)

If people have old routes, or places they think would be good to put in the route then let me know!

Ok, so the bike has now been split!

@_Leon is taking a few bits, pending collection this evening. I've updated the original post clarifying what's still available.

@Hefty & @The_Merchant - the frameset is still available.

I'd prefer to sell the frameset with the headset and BB fitted. It's £350 for the frameset, £25 for the near new Tange Seiki Levin Alloy 1500 NJS headset and I'll throw in the Shimano UN54 BB for free.

For sale is my Gayas build – it's pronouced kuy-us, in case you're wondering!

This is a very reluctant sale but needs must, I need to make way for the ever increasing collection of bikes. :)

Gaya is the name of a country in ancient Korea; Korea is the only country in the world other than Japan that carry on the game of Keirin (for gambling purposes).

Gayas disappeared in early to mid 1990s and their frames are therefore extremely rare to find in any condition; this frame in particular was sourced with the tubing in good condition but the decals and paint were poor. The original seller was actually able to track down the original builder (youngcycle.com) who built this in the 80s and have him restore it. Young Cycle builds all the Cello, 3rensho and Kalavinka frames for Korean Kerin.

This one has the double butted Tange tubing and Suntour track-ends. NABY engraved on the seatstay means Butteryfly which is presumably the nickname of the rider it was built for.

Gayas is possibly the first Korean track frame company ever established. They were sponsored by one of major company in Korea called Sun-kyung (SK) and built track frames for U.S.A. Olympic Track Team for Seoul Olympics 1988. Most of Gayas frames has double butted Tange tubing and Suntour track-ends. They are extremely rare to get (even in Korea) and built prestigiously to highest standard.
