Hi all,
I have just replaced grips on one of my bikes and removed a set of Bontrager Satellite 130/130mm Grips Black/Grey.
Still usable, I thought someone might need them for a beater.
If you need other sundries items, please let me know as I might have them in my parts box and will add them FOC.
Pick up from New Cross SE14 or I can bring into work at Goodge Street Station.
Cheers
Vince

I had my Douze serviced at London Green Cycles in Q4 2022 at a cost of £333.96.
They did a great job on replacing all my steering cables (which were about half of the service cost), however although they replaced in Enviolo shifter, my old NuVinci380 was not shifting, for that matter, the shifter was not turning at all.
I did not really pay much attention as it was stuck mid-range so all good for London use with the e-assist. Also the NuVinci380 hub was absolutely shot so I just assumed it had died.
I have just refitted my rear wheel (Enviolo Extreme 36h SA on 26" Ryde Andrea) and to my surprise, the rear hub was still not working.
I followed the cable and LGC had pinched the new outer cable on the frame bolts :-)
All sorted now!

SOLD
Hi all,
I am selling my house and the buyers aren't interested in keeping the garden storage.
After the research I did, this was the best option in terms of costs / durability compared to a timber shed that'll rot away in 3 years & be constantly damp or a £25k garden office. This is an Expandakabin Flat Packed Garden Office Unit which I used for personal storage so it is in great shape. My electrician fitted a Schneider electric pack so it has a switchboard, a light switch and power plugs.
It is in London SE14 (New Cross) and you will need to come & dismantle it and take it away.
It's a 3.3m long × 2.3m wide Expandakabin which I purchased brand new in 2020 (it was delivered & installed on Friday 29 May 2020) as this was the best option / value for money. It has a proper door with a lock, a double glazed window and I also got the electrician to fit a switchboard/plugs/a LED batten.
It came flat packed, the largest single piece being the roof. Fitted through my side gate and only took 3h to put together.
Happy for you to also take the bespoke base.
More info here:
https://expandakabin.co.uk/
https://www.extraspace.co.uk/shop/product/expandakabin-3m/These are priced new at £4,800 + delivery (which is £240) - then you have a the electric pack (cost me about £250) + base (that was £1,250 with labour).
They are made in Turkey and their facilities have been taken over by the govt for the earthquake relief so you can't actually get one in the UK at present.
Anyway, come to New Cross, dismantle it and take it away (even the base if you want it).
Price wise, I am after £3,000 -> £2,750 only for it - including the base & electric pack. If you need a VAT receipt, I can look into that for you as well.
That's an absolute steal for what you get at that price - it'll make a great garden office or bike storage space.
Thank you
Vince

Finally finished to put together the Pinarello Monviso frameset I bought off @cake off eBay (£82) in July 2022.
It was supposed to be a parts bin built but I had to buy the following parts:
27.0mm seatpost £8, 31.8mm seatpost clamp £4, ITA BB £12, wheelset £37.20, rear derailleur £8.Total spent = £151.20 + the rest of the parts I had lying around from other projects

This has been picked up - now gone
Hi all,
This is absolutely FREE.
I recently purchased it from @SRAMbo for £10 but it's not a good wheel so here it is for free.
Prime rim brake rear wheel. Tubeless compatible, quite wide clincher rim, quite lightweight, decent life left in the rim. 130mm hub spacing.
What's wrong with it? All the original nipples are seized solid so while trueing it, I broke 3x & I had to cut and replace 3x spokes. Ain't nobody got time for that.
It is now true so will be fine in a turbo trainer or a beater but don't rely on it for anything else.
Pick up from New Cross SE14, near the Hong Kong City Chinese restaurant.

SOLD SOLD SOLD
Hi all,
I am selling this lovely 1975 pink Mercier bike "Service des Courses" , handmade with Vitus 172 tubing "Serie Legere" , 49cm seat tube & 54cm top tube (CTT) so good for someone on the shorter side - around 5ft4 to 5ft6
The original deep pink colour (same as Poulidor's jersey at the time) is still intact with very minimal scrapes and marks and no dents. Slight pitting to the forks. All in, a very presentable bike for its 48 years of age.
I have owned it for around 5 years and at the time purchased it from its original lady owner in my hometown of Reims (Champagne region). The bike was serviced & the original bars were swapped for swept back ones - I kept the original set which is included in the sale.
- Gearset is 2x5 speeds with Stronglight 49D cranks / Simplex RD, FD & DT shifters. New KMC chain.
- Brakes are Mafac Racer. I have fitted new cartridge pads.
- Wheels are Mavic Module E 700c alloy clincher rims on Normandy hubs (QR). Tyres are Panaracer 700x32mm & there's room for either mudguards or larger clinchers.
- Cockpit is ATAX 90mm quill stem on 46cm bars with Weimann alloy levers & cork grips. The original set is 90mm Belleri Course stem & Belleri bars + the original tape.
All in great working order and can be ridden back any distance.
Price wise, I am after £295 -> £265 -> SOLD for £250 on eBay which is less than what the brakeset & cranks would go for on a good day on eBay.
Test rides from New Cross SE14. Happy to deliver or post.
Cheers
Vince
