Ta. I remember there was some discussion about robustness and waterproofness a couple years ago, someone who took their phone on site maybe? And hippy. I have appreciated the water resistance and reasonable drop resilience of my phone several times.

I'm also on the hunt for a new small phone. My Sony XZ1 Compact is currently held together with tape but apart from age my only real complaint is the limited storage (32GB). Otherwise for me it works fine. It's 129x65mm and IP65/68. I'd love to get as close to that as possible. Any suggestions?

I don't have much advice but if you know how to report issues to the council, rather than doing it once and waiting for a response, do it every time. Like, every day tell them what shit is happening. Harassing neighbours, dangerous construction site, toxic fires, unpermitted building work - if you haven't had a party wall notice, how likely is it to be lodged with building control?
I wonder if HSE have been notified. (Works over certain duration need to be.) They can shut down a site pretty quick.

Kneecap is on BFI rental for £16. That seems quite steep. I think previously been £10 for current releases. I also wish BFI did discounts, even small ones, on the rental cost for subscribers. Although I guess the argument is you subscribe to get free access to subscription only.

You could erect a bridging scaffold if you have space to work on either side. But you can't cantilever a bit of scaffold over from one side only. Also depends how wide that bit of building on the right is.

You have local elections this week right? If it's not too late, speak to your family, friends, co-workers, kid's friends parents. Write to your candidates. I know nothing about the state of local politics in Australia but overall political change is the big impact.
