@Stonehedge nice, I'll check them out!

Expecting this thread to die a quick death, but surely with the amount of members on here there has to be at least a few fans of the squared circle here.
Don't be shy!So happy to see Daniel Bryan being cleared to wrestle after 3 long years out!
This news has got me a lot more excited for Mania than I have been in a long time, very tempted to watch it live and take the next morning off work now.
YES! YES! YES! -

My wife had her keto set back a bit on Sat night.
Went to a Paddy's day thing at the Clapham Grand, she entered the 'lovely girls (or boys) competition' (it was a Father Ted themed night).
Got to the final two, and had to have a 'who can eat this cake in the most lovely way' off.
Didn't want to be the kind of gobshite that spoils the fun by saying they can't eat certain things, so stuffed a quarter of a victoria sponge down her cake hole. After 6 weeks of no sugar/carbs I think it sent her a bit loopy for the rest of the evening.
She won the competition so it was totally worth it in the end!

The 6 speed does sound like a bit of a faff though, having to alternate two levers to go up and down gears, not sure I want to have anything extra taking my attention from the maniac drivers while commuting.
Found the 2 speed to be a bit spinny, I think they only offer the choice to go down and not up on the gearing of the 2 speed.I'd like to know more of the tech specs around the difference between the power modes on the electric, I honestly couldn't tell that much difference between the three.

Popped down to Compton Cycles in Catford this afternoon to have a go on their 2 speed electric Brompton.
Very fun; took it out for about 5 miles and went along to the Horniman taking as many hills as I could on the way. Even managed to haul myself up Canonbie which was a surprise, still had to out some effort in for that but not too bad.The power of the assist it puts out feels much the same as the Gocycle (no throttle boost tho).
The option of riding it sans battery does appeal, which would make the 6 speed the better choice perhaps, not sure...

@jdp We are trying hard to cook new keto recipes, also trying out all sorts of new meat and cuts we've never had before to keep things interesting.
Fathead keto pizza is a winner!

@jdp both of us have been falling asleep much earlier (a good thing, we used to be up until half midnight most nights) and much deeper sleep.
@Tenderloin the breath thing was definitely there for a week or so, but has completely gone now (my other half is obsessed with smelly breath, so I'd be told if mine honked!)
As for how strict it is, honestly the things it allows us to have are all our favourites, so it feels like we've given up very little in terms of food types. Can still go for a meat liquor burger! (no buns and wings instead of chips) have a dirty kebab when pissed. Honestly loving it so far. -
Thanks to both, that would be great.
Had a go last night at doing a 'quiet' route, came up with this:
https://goo.gl/pABxN3Annoying how Google cycle routes doesn't allow for getting off the bike and crossing at ped crossings as that would be the plan to get across Streatham High Road rather than trying to turn onto it and then off it.
The worst looking road here is the A237 past Mitcham Junction, but it has a shared use pavement on one side of the road, so won't have to tangle with the traffic along there.

We've been going to the gym a couple times a week like normal.
I tend to do weights and my other half does the crosstrainer.
Not really noticed a difference in the calories the machine calculates for her or my weights and reps before failure.
Neither of us have ever really gone that hard in the gym though, not sure either of us have ever really done anything properly high intensity to be honest!
@Jonny69 Yeah, going to a live event is what got me into it, great fun having a good shout at the bad guys, it's like a fun violent adult soap opera with added chair shots.
