I posted a wanted ad on here about a month ago when i was after a frame for myself and it worked out pretty good, now my house mate wants a beater to build up so here goes..
I'm looking for a 54-56 frame suitable to to set up fixed. It has to be structurally sound with no dings / dents or cracks, brand, colour and appearance doesn't matter.
British threaded bb and originally intended for 700c would be ideal.
It would be nice if it had a headset and or a seatpost already but not essential.
around the £50-60 region, what you got people?

my old beater frame has finally died and I am after something low cost as a replacement so i thought i'd see if anyone here had anything.
It must have horizontal dropouts to run fixed and british BB threads, id like it if it had a useable seatpost / headset intact but its not essential, It would also be great if it was intended for 700c so i don't have to use a long drop brake.. don't mind brand, colour or paint work condition but it must be structurally sound.
hopefully sub £50 is enough budget..
Thanks

yeah the one i have is that design, its way shinier than the one pictured apart from two 1-2 mm scratches near the top bolt.. its on a bike right now but i will take a picture tonight and measure it for you.. Ive been wanting to put a nitto jag and new tape on this particular bike for a while, so this may give me the kick up the arse i need to change it

Just had a bit of a garage find. Its a kalkhoff frame(anyone know of them?), with campag hubs, simplex rear gears and sillstar chainset. I'm assuming the wheels are not original, as they seem higher spec than the rest of the bike. I think I'll just clean it up and get it rolling for my brother as its more his size than me and hes been hounding me for a run about bike. Only problem with is the front derailuer is missing.
I dont know a lot about maintenance of gears but I guess it shouldnt be too hard to pick up a front deraileur to work.
