Guys, I'm so sorry - no notifications of an update to this thread came through to me until I got a DM just now. Anyway, let me know if any of you are still interested @Skülly - @knowthejo - @123oner - happy to split if I can find a home for all the parts. Apologies again!

A pair of brand new and never used Mavic Open Pro CD Rims laced to a Sturmey Archer S3X rear hub and a Sturmey Archer Track Hub on the front. Built for a winter bike project that never really got off the ground. I always liked the idea of having a 3 speed fixed bike, and I’ve been sitting on these wheels for years but I don’t think I’m going to do anything with them now. These also come with a shifter kit (thumb shifter), and 16T sprocket etc. all in sealed bags. 120mm O.L.D. Grey CD coating on the braking surface matches the grey colour of the rims.
Before lock-down I was in London with work (currently in Bath), and I should be back once schools return. I’m happy to post these to make life easier for now, or wait until restrictions are lifted more.
£265 posted ONO.

So I did some investigative work a little while back to try and work this out... The frame shows some consistencies with the 'Olympic' model and the 'Classic' - but I was told that as many of these frames were custom built in the 80's, the original owner could have chosen some parts over others. Maybe others here will be able to help?
I can't believe that the paint is original (given the condition) - however, it was looked after well by the old boy that I bought it from, so I wouldn't be surprised. It has been touched up in places by him, and virtually unused by me.

Mercian Touring / Audax Bicycle, made from 531 Reynolds steel.
22.5" / 56cm frame - measured C-C, 56cm Toptube C-C.
This frame is from 1984, frame number 77884.
It has been built up with a mix of components as follows:
- Campagnolo hubs laced to Wolber rims.
- Campagnolo rear mech, front mech and shifters (Nuovo Record) and brakes and levers (Gran Sport).
- 100mm Cinelli Stem, 38cm Cinelli bars
- Stronglight headset
- Suntour chainset
- 6 speed cassette
- 27.2 Campagnolo Seat pin
- Turbo Saddle
It is running some 28c Conti tyres at the moment, but I can provide some brand new 23c tyres with it. I have put new cables and outers on too.
It has been stored well, in the shed and / or loft for the interim. The paint work is great, but there are a few touch up marks from a previous owner.
It's been a wonderful audax bicycle, has eyelets for mudguards / racks, so also suitable as a winter bike.
The bike is located in Bath, but I come to London often with work, so could either arrange to drop off. Happy to ship for £25 if all else fails.
£450.00
- Campagnolo hubs laced to Wolber rims.
Thanks all, I've now sorted a sale.
