Not sure if @Acliff will kick off a new one of these in the new year but been awesome to see everyone's progress across the lifetime of the thread. Personally find it a great, supportive space to help with what can be quite a difficult to discuss challenge.
I'd also say that this time of year is generally filled with excess and it's more than likely we will all add a little timber over the holidays. Know that if you've done it once you can do it again, so have fun and don't sweat it too much.

I found that as lots of people are running spring marathons in the UK, training from now until then can get you a really good base for a 10k. I'd also suggest a running club helps for this and unless you are very good at being consistent with the high intensity sessions.
I'm hoping I'm finally over the itband niggle which has plagued me this year - just in time to begin a training block for an ultra marathon next May

The Gails mince pie is very good but at £3 a go it's hard to justify.
Tried some of the Waitrose cranberry and orange jobbies. They taste good but I don't actually consider them to be a true mincer.I'm actually planning on doing a mince pie bike tour tomorrow around a few bakeries - will report back

Edwin, APC and Acne I think are decent jeans which match your criteria at the more fashion end of things.
I’d also go to clutch and Anglo Italian. They are both really nice shops which carry a range of different jeans by different brands in a range of styles. Find their service levels really good. I found SoS a bit snooty.
I wear a high rise jean but also like something softer. As such a washed jean takes care of some of that.

Bread ahead - £3
Less filled than thought
Pastry lacked butteriness
Filling ok but too sweetYesterday I paid £3.50 for a mincer from Yardarm - didn’t even have a pastry lid. Great mince though
Today I had a pannetone pain suisse from Forno and whilst not a mince pie would say it deserves a mention in this thread. Sensational. Should be for £5.50 mind.
