I was coming over tower bridge the other night riding behind a car being driven by someone swiping (mostly right) on tinder. Their phone was in a holder on the dash. They had zero road awareness

Sadly this is far from the first time I have witnessed such a thing.

Bit late to the party, but I have been observing exactly what you describe.
I don't commute in rush hour so wondered if that had anything to do with it, but virtually every day for the last 4 months I have witnessed (thankfully rarely been involved with) at least one psycotic driving incident.
my route se27 - E15 and back.

Absolutely crazy levels of aggressive or idiotic driving.

I was commuting all through last year and the empty roads for April and May etc were heaven.

I nearly bought an Omnium Mimimax in late 2019, but knew I wouldn't be able to get it up the tight stairs into the flat and it wouldn't last the week chained up on the street, but my desire (and need) has continued to grow so reasoned something without much money invested in it would fit the bill

yeah the tandem policy would cover the cargo bikes I reckon, but an omnium is a good deal wider than a tandem

Has anyone on here had older friends/relatives/parents react incredibly badly to the vaccine?

My parents (mid 70's) received the Pfizer vaccine nearly 6 weeks ago.
My father didn't get anything worse than a sore arm, whereas my mother took ill in the evening of the injection and from then on presented what her GP said was the worst case of shingles they'd ever seen. Her symptoms worsened to the point she was taken to hospital for overnight observation two weeks back.
The local GP was initially keen to get her notes passed to the vaccination centre has now said words to the effect, you may have this for a year, deal with it.

Any medical types on LFGSS who can recommend a course of action for massively acute shingles? She was given an antiviral by the GP a few days after the vaccine reaction, but only painkillers thereafter.

I knew I'd seen pictures of a similar bike on BikeFix's Instagram last year (Your very bike as it turns out!).

Bump on this after the thread came up from a google search as saw this or a similar bike being ridden down great Marlborough street yesterday afternoon and fell in Love with the look of it.
