I'm going to say no. There are some things I'll pay the price of extra weight/faff like a heavier sleeping mat but a chair, nah.
All subjective right enough. If you dont live on the West Coast of Scotland where outside tent time is limited to mauling by midges then I imagine it's quite a nice thing to sit in a chair for awhile after a long day.

@Chopsicle If you might impart some knowledge?
I sewed a patch on to my dry bag which was a bad thing, I should have glued it but thought given it was going to take a beating sewing would be better not realising I was creating holes in my waterproof barrierπ€¦Wondered if you could recommend a glue for patches? The Albion heat reactive repair kits work well..I really want something akin to that I can apply myself.

Any advice on not over packing for a multi day bike trip?
It's Scotland in May so anything can and will happen weather wise.
Do you just wear the same thing every day? Leaving the blazer and deck shoes at home? :)
I like to have a change to sleep in, clean and dry lightweight smelly Hansen but otherwise do you just grind it out in the minimum of kit?
What do you pack for a 3-4 day trip?

Nike Vapour/Alphafly. Are they much the same? By that I mean ferociously expensive race day only shoes.
I need some new shoes and I'm using Pegasus which I've liked to be honest. I've been rotating with Saucony Guides, like them too and Hokas which I'm not so keen on.
I have been considering going all out for the aforementioned Megabucks Nike's.
Are they worth it?

I want some non touring tyres for my touring bike. The Marathons on there are like anchors and I'd like to put some more gravelly types on. 35-38mm. Is the answer Terrenos?
