Hey all, its been a while since I checked in on this thread.
I totally forgot to post about this a long time ago... I started making these exposure record notebooks for people shooting film last year. A successful Kickstarter helped me print a big first run. The response has been pretty great so far. Check them out: http://www.analogbook.comOn a completely separate note, I'm looking for a temporary camera borrow/swap. I had this last minute gig come up that involves me being in the Peruvian Amazon. I want to lighten my load and not take my standard Pentax 6x7 workhorse. If anybody has one of those Travelwide 4x5 cameras by Wanderlust, Fujifilm GF, or a Mamiya 7 system or something like that I could borrow for a month and half that would be incredible. I'd be happy to swap any of my cameras for you to use and/or insure yours for my trip. I know it is a long shot but I thought I'd put it out there!

Clearing out the parts bin...
FSA Vero Cranks/chainset, black. 172.5. 110mm BCD. 50/34t.
Never used these so in pretty new condition. Received them on a frame I bought and built up with different cranks. There is a small scratch under the Vero logo on the driveside crank. There are also chain transfer marks on back side of the chainrings.
£30 ... New on Chainreaction for £58.49 (http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/fsa-vero-compact-chainset/rp-prod78792)
Collect from Hackney Wick or Dalston. No dibs, first with cash or Paypal gets them.

A track wheelset built by V-Sprint at the end of 2011. Only put about 250 miles on them or so before putting them up on a shelf in my studio. A few superficial scratches but otherwise in great condition. They have been sitting there for a few years collecting dust, time to let them go!
Weinmann DP18 rims on fixed-free Miche Pr1mato hubs. Front rim is machined for a brake, rear is not. Fitted a new 16t cog.
Paid £172 for these new, SOLD. No dibs, first with cash in hand or Paypal gets them. Collect from Hackney Wick or Dalston. I'll throw in some spare tires and tubes I have kicking about for an extra £10.

@The_Kindness_of_Trees, alas, I do not know. This was only the SNES and games I was able to get when buying the lot off somebody years ago. Growing up in the States my game catalogue was completely different (and did of course include Super Mario Cart... as well as Zelda, Super Mario World, Samurai Showdown, Uniracers, and many others).
-
@mclemson1, if I had Zelda I probably would keep it!

Cleaning out the studio, some things that don't get used have to go... even though I know I'll kick myself later.
Case in point:
SNES – Super Nintendo Entertainment System with 17 games. Two controllers. Power cable. Old video connector (I did had the coaxial/aerial cable to SCART adapter to be able to hook it up to modern televisions but now I can't find it... you can buy one online for a few quid). Everything works. Ah nostalgia... the best gaming system there ever was.
The games are:
Street Fighter II: Champion Edition
Donkey Kong Country
Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt
The Lawnmower Man
International Superstar Soccer
Captain America and the Avengers
Starwing
Shaq-Fu
Kick Off
Frank Thomas' Big Hurt Baseball
Super International Cricket
Super Tennis
F-Zero
The Brainies
PGA European Tour
Bubsy
Olympic Summer GamesLooking for £75 for the whole package. Cross referencing some of the cartridge price guides, that is a steal! Hopefully it goes to a good home and gets some use.
PM please, but first with the cash collecting from Hackney Wick area, it is all yours.

My buddy had both his bikes nicked a couple days ago. I think they were taken out of his back garden shed near Mare Street / Victoria Park Rd intersection. If anybody sees anything please let me know and I'll put him in touch.

hang on, am i missing something or have you listed a frame/forks for sale with 2 pics of just parts of it along with a catalogue pic of how it should have looked? and had an offer?
Yup, I think you are missing something.
I'm listing the frame/forks for sale (and some old wheels thrown in there that I had laying around as a bonus... as well a seatpost and BB). Hopefully you are seeing the first few images which should make this pretty clear.
The two images at the end are just for reference. The first was how I built up the bike a couple years back (and an example of how it can look when the paint is in good condition). The catalogue photo and link is for whoever is interested so they can dig up more about the frame specs, history, etc. if they are so inclined.
I get the feeling you are incredulous about something, but now I'm the one who feels like I'm missing something. Hopefully I cleared that up for ya.

Anybody for a nice beater frame or project for 2014?
I'm making room in the new year and selling my old 1973 Raleigh Super Course TT frame and forks. Throwing in some beater wheels, seatpost, original seatpost bolt, a Shimano BB with 300-400 miles on it, and the original headset bits. Cable carrier and shifter braze-ons have been ground off so not a candidate for a complete restore job. Paint was a horrible black spray job when I came across the frame. Striped back to bare steel over a couple years ago and then painted with automotive spray enamel (some Volvo metallic moss green) and then a automative clear coat. This hasn't held up great being ridden as a beater, so quite a few paint chips and surface rust now showing. Would probably look great to get it striped and properly painted or powdercoated.
Price: £70
Details:
TT CTC: 56cm
ST CTC: 56cm
Both wheels are 700c from an old Italian tourer I picked up in Marrakech. Both are nicked up and a bit out of true at the moment but roll fine. Rear has a 6-speed cassette in good condition.
Includes seatpost and bottom bracket in the photos.
Little piece of old cable inside the frame somewhere, occasionally rattles and tings every so often when going over bumps or down cobbled streets. Never bothered to try and get it out.Photos:
What it looked like when I built it up a few years back (NOT the current condition mind, please see the photos above [hopefully obvious enough]):
From the 1973 Raleigh catalogue:

Been in storage for a little while. Moving into a smaller studio so these need to be shifted to the next aspiring Animal. They are a bit beat up and there are probably a few pieces of hardware missing, but can be setup for a fun bash or your new summertime punk project. A few nice bits of kit in there, like the Pearl kick drum pedal.
– 2 x floor toms (one is über deep)
– 2 x toms (couple extra skins, although I'd probably replace them)
– Kick drum + nice pedal
– Snare + stand
– Hi-hat stand
– Some cymbals and a torn cymbal case
– Other bits and bobs
£70. Collection from Dalston area- Shacklewell lane. No dibs, first to show up with cash gets them!
