Did anyone ever buy/receive anything from @Cyclelife? I bought some pedals weeks ago and both the pedals and he seem to be MIA.

@jj72 & @BobbyBriggs You're absolutely right these eggs aren't cheap, but like many things in life (cycling included!) you get what you pay for.
These eggs:
- are absolutely massive (65g to 75g)
- are shipped to me the day after lay, which means that they are incredibly fresh and perfect for poaching
- have vibrant yellow yolks (thanks to the marigold and paprika in their cereal-based vegetarian diet)
- are laid by chickens that are free to 'range' around a farm with more than 4,000 native trees and hedges which provide shade and shelter from the elements during the day
- have flavour
The egg farmer is fixated on both good welfare and good quality, both of which come at a price, and his "palmarès" include:
- the British Free Range Egg Producer of the year in 2015, awarded by the Free Range Egg Producers Association; and
- the Health & Welfare award at the Pig & Poultry Marketing Awards in 2016.
If either of you are anywhere near Dalston, I'll happily give you a dozen to try. :)

In case anyone else wants eggs for the 'weekend', I've got a bunch arriving tomorrow and have a few left. Order at https://bit.ly/3az96Nc.
Can also meet locally (whilst out for my one a day) if that would be convenient.

@ElephantBreathlynx Next drop should be here Friday in time for the weekend.
@dancing james Love a bit of barter. Now I just need to find a baker! :)

Ok, this is an admittedly strange post. But if you, like many others, are finding it hard to find eggs at the moment, and you're based near Dalston, Stokie, Hackney, then I can help.
Back in 2016 I made friends with an amazing free-range egg farmer called Phil, and since then have had his eggs delivered direct from the farm to Dalston (Somerford Grove).
I do this because I like good eggs. I get a delivery of large, very fresh eggs with deep yellow yolks about once a week and normally have some spares which I sell to other people in our street/who are local.
At the moment it's collection only, and the eggs are £6 per 15.
Order at https://bit.ly/3az96Nc or ask any questions below and I'll do my best.

@benana These look great. Have you explored other fasteners? I noticed that saddle bags from Australian Skin Grows Back use Fidlock magnetic closures.
