Thank you. Yep Nitto post, stem and bars. I spent a lot of time oggling stuff on https://www.tracksupermarket.com/ and when I got this frame it seemed too good an opportunity to miss. The bars are the closest bend I could get to the Reynolds "TT Special" bend - I've got one to go on another build in progress.
Bit of an odd one picking parts for a 90s repro - using period parts seemed wrong and using 90s parts just because it was a 90s bike also seemed off.
I suspect you've seen the modern Alex Singer bikes? Real knee rubbers. http://www.cycles-alex-singer.fr/catalogue.html I wanted to do something like that but for a British fixed gear. -
... @absurdbird and yeah the Phil hubs are on the heavy side 😂 They look like bacon slicers though so worth the extra ounces.

This is stamped in the underside of my Brooks ti swallow. I can’t understand now why I cared, but it doesn’t correspond to their date stamping. I checked with Brooks themselves and they confirmed it was the one I thought it was - 2007 I think, but didn’t know the numbering either.
The seller’s email address got me to her FB page. I did not hit her up 😂

These are TB14s - it's a 90s repro Bates (built by Ron Cooper, lugs cut by Len Phipps in Ray Etherton's incarnation of Clasic Bikes) and I built with all modern components with a classic look. Been out for a spin in the sunshine on it today, first ride in nearly 3 months, felt great :)
It's quite a heavy wheelset in the end even with Sapim Laser spokes 😎
[I was particularly chuffed to get the saddle, can't remember exactly but I paid a hundred and something rather than a grand like they're listed for now. As far as I can tell it was from an early sample sale, I stalked the seller (on Facebook - it is for birds after all) and she was a Japanese fashion designer in London. Funny old world.]

Re 700s ...
I’m planning building up a set of double fixed Airlites (if I can get the rear hub fixed) with a pair of 40/32 700 MA2s I have - ‘they’ll look just like sprints’
I was planning to do the same with Module E2 😂 For me the seed was planted reading one of Robert Broderick's bike write-ups (if you don't know the site velo-pages you really should, lots of catalogues although later more 70s give or take than 50s, his build write-ups are insanely detailed). Anyway at the time of reading this as a younger, more naive vintage bike fancier I thought "come on Robert, get a grip" but like I said, I'm increasingly onboard. He picked MA2s as well ...

@absurdbird here are the current H Lloyd waterslide decals. Without comparing to any originals they look pretty nice :)
Edit - needless to say I fully support your geeklordery, just these looked nice when they fell out the envelope.

Nice. I’m making a big push to clear stuff / raise funds. Will be nice to stop!
Shame everyone has an Airlite rear hub to sell, I must have at least 3 rusty ones in bits on my workbench.
While we’re on the subject of anodised hubs though - if anyone has a large flange green Airlite rear hub I’d be keen to discuss it. I have a nos front. Ideally would like to meet someone with a sf blue CL front and a lf green Airlite rear for swapsies.

Re Totoro ... I love the Studio Ghibli films and other Japanese weird wonderfulnes. I watched a lot of them with my kids over the various lockdowns. Great Sunday morning films while Mrs Veloham is laying about in bed. So magically drawn, fantastical and weird as ####.
Edit - can’t quite remember why I had a pic of Totoro on my computer when I had to pick an avatar but I’ve grown to identify with him.

Re that Condor Ebay description ... I didn’t check but just lifted from classiclightweights or somewhere wasn’t it? Can’t believe it sold for that unless they got very lucky and hit the piñata first time? Fixed gear means fixed ✊
@falconvitesse re Brooks Sprinter ... heck yeah, the alloy one that sold a while back was pretty much the holy grail but this is also v nice.
Bad news for me, I’m already using steel clips!
I nearly swapped them back today but I figure it’s all good practice for when I’m riding fixed with some fancy vintage clips. There’s a right hand turn crossroad junction on the (pretty flat) circuit I ride this round that’s the dodgiest but. Scrape round there fairly often 😬
