I didn't mean a majority emphasis, it's just an example of stuff older clubs spend energy/committee time/resources on that may not appeal to those who go on to form the kind of nu-club discussed here.

Another example would be that older clubs tend to have an emphasis on time trialling, which is its own (increasingly unfashionable?) world. e.g. you might be put off by being asked to stand marshalling a roundabout on the G69/B course in pissing rain at 5am on a Sunday.

Mostly to do with being old fashioned/slow to adapt, one way or another.

Car wax, if you can be bothered. Pledge works for giving it a bit of a shine, prevents fingerprints etc, but I don't think it stops crap sticking to it. Like @dancing james says, cleaning it is easy. Surely one advantage of Ti is not having to worry about looking after it. Until it's looking a bit patchy after a few years, then you go over it with a pan scourer.

You know there is a GP4000SII with a 'transparent' sidewall - more brown than tan though? And also the GP Classic with more retro looks.

Having just watched it, Ash is indeed identified as a male human, and not as an android until later in the film.

I doubt it will be that exciting in itself, seems a bit toothless. Hoping more people are asked to attend a future Select Committee.

I didn't need to migrate to a smaller partition, but presume if that is not covered, you can do it easily enough by shrinking the HD partition first.

If true of course, a board actually overturning its control mechanisms (rather than not having adequate controls, as per the medical records) is going well beyond a performance culture.

That sort of approach may be sustainable in commercial organisations with deep pockets for payouts and legal hushing of ex-employees, or perhaps where there is adequate compartmentalisation (I bet the hairdryer was kept well away from youth team, or salaried office staff). It isn't at a largely publicly funded org, and shows extremely poor governance and attitude to risk.

In short, how can anything that BC says be trusted?

Thanks for this. I don't know much about them so assumed once it was loose it needed replacing. Also this is a pretty nice frame (very thin walled Ti) so don't want to do any bodges that might risk damage. But seems a lot more straightforward than I thought.
