I’ve been using the alix kit for years and mostly it is fine. Nevertheless, last year I‘ve bought the og sram kit and it really speeds things up, cause the hoses on syringes are actually sealing, but mainly that the adaptors’ head can be turned, so that you can screw it in the caliper without the odd job of rotating the whole syringe which usually is pretty messy itself.
All in all, if magura and shimano, the alix is allright, for sram I would go for their, or some other, better, kit -

tell me please if my thinking is straight.
on my beater i have sram level tlm brakes. if left unattended the pads will get contaminated quickly. there's no air in the system though. is this the leaky piston thing?
if so, is this the thing I need https://r2-bike.com/SRAM-Brake-Caliper-Piston-Service-Kit-for-Level-TLM-Ultimate-Red-eTap-HRD-Monoblock ?furthermore, is there a place to only get the piston o-rings for these 21mm pistons (it's the first gen level tlm), since the aforementioned sets seem kinda too much for two rubber rings.
the thing is, I'm not very fond of those brakes either, so I'm either trying to do this on the cheap side, or go for something different completely. -

I have that exact same one and must say it’s shit. Either the titanium shell is in diameter a touch big or the wedge cluster small. nevertheless, if tightened (with carbon paste) properly, it slips. If tightened so that it doesn’t, the saddle rails bite into the side of the shell. Also, it’s almost impossible to make micro adjustments becasue the saddle is either completely free, or stuck in the wedge and to undo it, you need to literally break it free by pressing & pulling on your seat.
10/10 would buy again. -
