Can anyone suggest how to navigate trails? Last summer i plotted routes on komoot, it shouted directions in my ears while i listened to audiobooks, but i was never quite convinced i was picking the right path, so had to get my phone out my elastic belt thing to check. It was almost great. But i'm sure there's a better way instead of getting my phone out all the time. I have a forerunner 935, and 'maybe' this has functionality to follow a map? i.e. lift my wrist and see if i'm going the right way. Is it easy to see if you're pointing the right way?

One of my sister's best friends was killed in Tulse Hill when she was hit by a car Wednesday (25 Jan) morning about 07:20. I gather she was just crossing the street, not on her bike. If anyone happened to be passing Thurlow Park Road, at the junction with Birkbeck Hill, SE21 and could provide the police with any information, could you please get in touch with them.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any information is asked to contact the detectives from the SCIU on 020 8543 5157 or contact police by Twitter @MetCC.
You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.http://news.met.police.uk/news/appeal-following-fatal-collision-in-lambeth-216321

Ha, awesome @Fox. Your place looks great.
And thanks for the tip about Don't Move Improve. Hopefully I can go.
Random designer I got in touch with got a very rough quote from builder (as he hasn't seen the place), of about 50k before VAT and soft/hard furnishings. We don't have a set budget, but I won't be able to sell that price to my wife unless someone can give some reassurance we'd recoup costs when we came to sell, as people in the area seem to do with loft conversions.

We moved into our flat a few months ago, and I'm slowly compiling the list of changes I'd like to make. Any suggestions of what profession (builders, architects, designers?), or even specific recommendations of who I should get in touch with to talk about costs, timelines and feasibility? Do I get one person to quote for it all, then knock off things until it meets budget? Or get different people to do different bits?
Stuff I'm interested in getting quotes for (it's quite a long and varied lists - making it more difficult to know who to get in touch with):
- Reconfigure the back half of the flat (rip out bathroom and kitchen and open up / connect those two areas to dining area; build new room in opened up space for bathroom and install new bathroom; install kitchen in new spot; enlarge windows overlooking garden now bathroom and kitchen have been moved; remove wooden structure - the "boot room" - that sits on the metal platform on side of flat leading to stairs down to garden; uncover hidden fireplace, or remove chimney breast - probably pick the cheaper option)
- Built in L shaped wardrobes in loft room
- Built in under eaves storage in loft room
- Extension (new room) over rear of flat (very far down / not even on the priority list - but may as well throw it in)
- Floating alcove shelves in the lounge

I don't have a particularly clear picture of the story and how characters fit. But, still enjoying it.

Think most of the ones I listen to have been covered. Maybe not these:
FiveThirtyEight weekly (Yank) politics podcast. Listen to them tell you they weren't wrong
How to be a girl. Lady chats about her trans daughter is getting on
Reveal. Investigative journalism type stuff. Interesting one about the Pentagon Papers
The Memory Palace. That voice. Or is it just annoying? Not sure. -
Cheers folks. I think the issue is that i want to be running like i know the area (i.e. nothing in hand), but i don't know where i'm going.. Might look into a map of surrey hills though as that does also sound sort of fun and probably doesn't take much more time than constantly getting my phone out. Reminds me of my first go navigating to Brighton on my bike. 12 pages of google maps, which i pulled out my backpack every single turn to check i was going the correct way. I am not a good navigator...
