Hi Sorry didn't see these posts thought this got lost in all the other threads.
I still have it but it is listed somewhere else but um no bids ah hem.. I can still cancel it if anyone is really interested, welcome to have a look over the weekend just pm me .

Hi Laura, yep it should be fine for you, the top tube is 55 cm my GF is about 5'8" and it's ok for her. It did have a rack on it but it was so rusty and thin I took it off.

Yeah the chain is on the first gear so that's why it's at that angle but it rides fine.
I did try a singles speed freewheel on there but the chain line was so bad I decided to put gears back on.
You would need to put a track hub/wheel on the back for it to work well.
Geared wheels are built at a slight offset to allow for the cogs etc.

did you find it hard to change your cog?

ive got the lockring off but the cog wont budge!

Yeah I snapped a link on my chain tool trying to get it off, took it to a bike shop and it took two blokes a big chain tool and a pole to get it off.

^^ @Pedz, you've got to change the saddle, it's the worst thing on the bike and hence the first thing I changed.

Yeah think it' will have to go soon as it's started to rip already.
Not found it too bad to ride on but I only ride 5 miles each way to work.

    Another new guy.
Ex BMXer from the 90's when bikes wer solid heavy things with small bars, Harrow skate park was my local :).
Was riding a hybrid GT that I hated, it had shitty bouncy suspension and noisy clatering gears but I got it cheap of ebay and it got me to work but I needed something a bit more fun.
Got myself a Fuji Track 08 after reading up on here, changed the bars to some cheap dmr things stem to a bmx DK stem, got some shimano SX pedels with home made straps (wanted some old DX pedels but couldnt find any) and riding 48 18 fixed.
Maybe some new wheels next then maybe a FMB Sword.
    Anyway here are some pics.
    My Fuji

My 2000 ish S&M next gen dirt bike being rebuilt (at this rate for next summer)

And one of these for when I cant be bothered to cycle.. yeah I know boooooo

No questions at the mo, search function works just fine.
