@Raskol - rear light's not so much of an issue. Personally, I think a powerful rear light is more useful in urban areas with loads of ambient lighting, as it cuts through. It can be detrimental to some extent in the darkness, as you'll soon discover if you ride behind purple_mj or andyp, as their bright rear lights are blinding, and totally fuck up your night vision.

Fantastic riding with you all the other night. A lovely warm southern welcome. The run home felt rocket powered by post ride happiness. Cheers to Purple for the lights, Furious for pointing me over the river and TNRC for organisation.
