  • Hoke went to the pit area i stayed outside, when racing/quali's start the track is locked down much to the bemusement of stranded team members (who not have checked in yet) and normal people coming off the gondola and wandering what the hell was going on.
I think i heard a lot of swearing in italian, and some jibbing from those in the pits to those that couldn't get across until ladies quali's stopped.

    Ladies quali piccy corner 1

  • Few more from lead out lap, riders told to wind up speed after a few laps, not go nuts.

  • Fucks sake. When is the Last Chance ride on? Wish they get on with it and announce the timetable changes for the evening. I'd like to see an actual race.

  • Qualifying groups had 20mins of track time, your fastest lap in that period sets you on the grid later. Drafting and using team mates to get good times is ok.

58 must look up the name, seem to have a few of 58 :)

  • Last Chance race cancelled. Even though there's an hour until the women's race is on. I don't understand why, it's a short race. Lame.

  • Bummer, that should have exciting.

  • Any forumers qualify for the main race?

  • Results are live on the crit website.

14th Wayne Crombie east london velo ? i dont know anyone or teams is he a forumenger

http://www.theresultslive.co.uk/red-hook-crit/greenwich-peninsula-london/mens-crit all the quali results and ladies crit are up too.

  • great fun and great turn out!

  • Mad respect to the dosnoventa dude who hit his throat on the railing and got back up and kept going

  • Well, I was positioned most of the time inside the paddock near turn 2?. Really gutted the guys did not get the last chance race I mean there must have been a good hour between the end of qualifiers and the start of the womens race so how so??. I bet there would have been a lot of people expecting that to be "their" race and to have it cancelled after all the prep and it being a long day must have been terrible..

  • Oh mate that was a naughty little spill and I will concur your comment top marks...

  • Bwaaaaaaaaa. Pier partay..

  • That was fun. I was annoyed that I didn't get a chance at a proper race after the last chance race was cancelled, but was happy that I finished above quite a few of the guys I thought might out qualify me.

    Can't wait for next year.

  • Thanks so much to everyone who cheered me on during the women's final race. It was fucking incredible to be racing and have my name being screamed at me on nearly every corner. I felt like a celebrity and it really helped me keep pushing on (and more people were shouting my name than Juliet Elliott who was also in my group which made me feel pretty smug, ha).

It was an amazing race and I'm really chuffed to have placed 19th out of 39, especially since I only started training properly a month ago.

  • I came 148/207 overall, didn't get to do the main race, however I did get a KOM on strava down the homestraight, so I'll take that.

  • Proud of all the Thundercats today. We all placed well in comparison to the other local fixie gangs. @Scoot smashed it in her final. And we had some kind of representation with @Yankee_Shit_Bag in the mens final. Well done to @dimi3 and @sumo for repping with me in the crashiest and most disjointed qualifying group.

  • Party moved undercover to the North Greenwich ferry(O2) aproach.

    With rave lighting..

  • #9 Christian Trenchev, gutted he crashed, I was really rooting for him! I think he only broke a finger, which is quite good given the hit

  • Lovely to see so many forum members today, such an epic day out!

Great spectating and kudos to all the riders who took part, you guys should be proud of yourself, as you're all winners in our hearts!
