I may be riding to Devon on Thursday. Hence tmw laps.
-
• #204
I'm in the office Thurs and don't fancy turning up wrecked, so tomorrow laps. Might be able to do some post-work Thursday ones though? /cc @FixedCheese

I hate peer pressure! (and tomorrow both of you)
IN!
-
• #206
I'll probably do a few laps on thursday post work, but not at your pace...

We only do 18mph...promise! ;)
-
• #209
Actually I meant it the other way, but I'll join the 18mph club to be sociable.

Right, I have done some dusting and some oiling and some moving. Assuming my ancient glue holds up and I don't roll a tub en-route (and that I wake up, obviously) I'll see @HoKe and @eyebrows in the am. 0630 on the corner. I'll be in the kit unless that's not how we're doing things this week.

Epic fail!! My alarm didn't go off!!! FFS!!! :(
Sorry guys!

• #212
I have never coughed so much crap out of my lungs, ever.
Sorry Tom. I let you down this morning.
Next week normal service will resume, hopefully.
\Only managed 2 laps before death cough appeared. -
• #213
I was thinking after I shouted a load of abuse at you when you were on the pavement that you were looking a little peaky.... sorry dude.
It was pretty chilly and windy out there i thought, probably did you no favours. It has left me feeling more comatose than usual after an early workout.
Hope you're ok and recover well for your big trek SW tomorrow. Rest up and get the meds on board.@6pt, didn't ever get a chance to stop for a quick chat, sorry. They wuz some big hoops you were spinning on... you would have fitted in well with RPR nicely. Did you set a ridiculous pacea gain today?
@HoKe.... LAME!

I was on the dick bike as it needs to be used at least once this year. Struggled to do it justice though. Did a good 1.5 laps with @eyebrows and when he peeled off my heart wasn't really in it for solo but stuck with it in the wind and cold anyway (although was ready to hop on to the first wheel appeared and take the easy option, but none appeared). Slow and miserable, but fun to exchange abuse with you nonetheless.
@eyebrows hope the lungs clear and you make it to Devon tomorrow!

• #215
I know!
I had a angry commute ride into work instead! =/
-
• #216
I didn't really hear your abuse. My best abuse was saved for Henry but I think it probably went down like a sack of shite.
What bike were you riding, couldn't see?
It can be tough to keep motivation in that cauldron of cat 5 racers, particularly when it's cold. But it was either that or come to work earlier....

Look 595. I'm back in bed now, lols.
-
• #218
Thats more like it. Please quote slow and miserable numbers for my pleasure please
-
• #219
22.1mph. No power data because wrong bike. Rode home a broken man.
-
• #220
Ride to Devon is questionable now, will have to see how I feel. May just get a train and be miserable about it.
-
• #221
That's more human like. Good to see :)
-
• #222
Weren't you throwing up only a couple of days ago??
-
• #223
Don't sack it off completely and beat yourself up about it - get a train half way, ride the rest?
@6pt, you lucky sod. Could happily have a vegetation session in front of brainless telly. And that's a feckin fast ride ,chapeau. I would reveal my speed data but it's the intellectual property of my team (i.e. , me) and so am not permitted.

• #224
Yeah. Not been particularly well recently. Guts are still mediocre.

• #225
Take it easy dude. Pushing yourself whilst sick is hard man stuff, but also a sure fire way to hurt yourself some more. Or maybe just stick to Z1 Z2 until you are better
