The hub is an Onyx singlespeed. Sadly no instant engagement because of the gearbox freewheel, but I just love silent freewheeling through the forest

While someone closely follows me with a Hope hub, obviously

cheers! really no need for sorry - it was probably a good thing to swallow it early anyway (bumpy night from an adjacent party going OOMSH-OOMSH-OOMSH until 6am). I got back to N19, fell into bed, Zzz’d until 9.

Thinking about yesterday, there was a spot when we crossed the main road just after Wake Valley Pond where I rather impatiently nipped across as there was traffic coming. I feel like I should apologise for that, as in a group situation it's possible somebody might get in trouble by following me, and I think one of you might have had a little scare there :-/

10th year anniversary badges are still available!

Not your fault - driver was a complete prick about it. People were crossing the road - the onus was on him to back off and let those in the road complete their crossing.

But he didn’t, which left at least one of us stranded on the road in a very dangerous position.

A little thoughtfulness would have prevented that, but presumably a couple of seconds on his journey were more important than the safety of others.

Grade A asshole.
