Definitely contact them. If they are lost, they can cancel them and issue new ones that you should be able to pick up at the box office. No need to worry.

I was at the track yesterday to pick up my accreditation.... wow, that whole area has changed a lot since the Olympics...
Whats it like cycling to and from if you are coming from North London?

Yeah they basically rebuilt the entire area around it after the Olympics.

What area of North London? From Stoke Newington I get to the Lee Bridge Road roundabout, then turn off and go parallel with Chatsworth Road and turn on to Homerton Road then it's a straight line to the velodrome.

Thanks @sumo, i've just traced that journey. I'm staying by Highbury Fields for a couple of nights, and then in Highgate so i can use your route. i'm grateful.

No worries. Also, I've found the easiest way of actually getting to the velodrome is to turn left on to Eastway from Homerton Road and cross over just after the first set of lights and go up the ramp.

@sumo I was going to try and explain that, but it was just confusing so I left it! Actually finding the path that leads to the velodrome is the hardest bit!

Crate in Hackney Wick is very nice if you like pizza and beer. Might be a bit busy on a Saturday PM, but it's near the Velodrome.

if you stand with your nose pressed against the glass behind the coffee shop on the east side of the velodrome you can see about 20metres of the track

better coverage than any tv station !

How many times have you done that? Not sure they let you up there though, I remember trying to do the same thing for the hour record last summer and being promptly stopped.

I'll wait until they're at Manchester again...

I here two of the girls will not be going to rio as they did not qualify ! As in 5th place !!!

Qualification on the Olympics is based on results in World Cups and the World Championships. To be it bluntly, they've not been consistently good enough to qualify.
