Just seeing those bacon sandwiches again makes me feel all warm inside.

Repeated thanks to the leaders at the front and the backstops at the back. Was a pretty tight ride once we got that going.

Let's do it again.

Sleep more the day before
Bring real food
Ring ahead to pub so they can order in supplies

Yeah. I mean, after 04:30 it just never warmed up. I was expecting to have to take off a base layer but didn't - was so glad I had additional clothing with me.

Don't bring a frame out of storage that I haven't sat on for 9 months and expect to ride it that far without my hamstring imploding - should have taken the Bob Jackson!

Don't "help out" with a 4 crate olympic weights delivery at work before you go. Better still, sleep more!

Eat proper food before you leave - my last proper meal was dinner Friday night.

Otherwise, really looking forward to the next one, even if the dunrun is scenically dull in comparison.
