I will not be in the country that weekend so I'm out :-(

No pressure or anything, I'm just coming from THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET!!11!!!!!11!1111!!
Real talk though, I'm cutting it close with weight restrictions so I'm considering leaving the tent here. In that event I don't mind sleeping on the floor like the littlest hobo if it's dry, but wouldn't mind shaquing up with somebody if they have a spare spare.
Also, WHERE TF IS YOUR NAME ON THAT LIST @amey

Monstoureur or full bounce? Crippling indecision
-
• #80
Likewise still. Although I’ve got gravel vs half bounce
-
• #81
Could fit you in the porch if I take my proper tent
-
• #82
To settle this up, once and for all:
Hardtail > Rigid MTB / Short travel full sus > Cross/"gravel"/ Hybrid > nothing else allowed -
• #83
How dare you put cross in the same cat as hybrid
-
• #84
It’s more the comfort factor. I can ride my gravel/road bike all day, the mtb not so much
-
• #85
Isnt that maybe in reverse on a bumpy off road ride?
-
• #86
It’s probably more to do with the fact that I have adjusted my drop bar riding position for a couple years and have a very comfy position on the bike but have only rode my mtb a dozen times and when you’re out of the saddle often, it’s difficult to know how to micro adjust in the same way. Also my seat tube is too long for the only seatpost I have for it (a dropper) so it’s slightly too far extended at full extension which is gonna give me knee troubles on a 2 day ride

If it rains then I will bring a tipi tent fly and can accommodate 1 or 2 people.
Some other kit I can borrow: stem bag, Thermarest Z Lite mat, bivi bag, +1C sleeping bag.

• #92
That reminds me, I don't have a tarp
-
• #93
Someone said they’d lend a bivvy on page 1/2 no? I was going to go for it but will take my tent, worst case scenario I’ve Shared my tent (Coshee 2) before, it’s a tight fit though.
-
• #94
it’s a tight fit
The tent’s pretty small too
-
• #95
I'm pretty sure I'm out. But the offer of frame bag is still there, along with my bivi and inflatable mat if anyone needs
-
• #96
MoNSteurBOi I'd say, so that I'm not the only one. Yeah a porch nap would do me just fine. Looks like the weather might be nice?
That or I snag your Bivi @yakut? Sounds like we'll be alright either way. I am PUMPED.
-
• #97
Oh I also have a spare Bivi
-
• #98
BIVI'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW!
-
• #99
yeah no probs. It's an Alpkit open face one so won't help much in case of proper rain tho

I think this would work. Will PM
