76% say they would vote differently to protect the planet and climate.
This kind of polling never translates, but even so how many Green votes will be lost to tactical voting? Time for change.

Libdems, can’t help propping up the Tories, it’s just in their nature.

It's hard to judge with local councils though as there's always some sort of shit going on (grants to a dubious looking law firm in this case). You can't just unconditionally support Labour.

The Lib Dems seem to be gaining momentum

Also looks like this election is going to just polarise the country further. Farage is basically distancing himself from every having been aligned with anything other than hard brexit. It seems like more and more people are ending up convinced that a hard brexit is the right thing

What do they think will happen once we hard Brexit?
At some point, and probably very early on, we’ll have to go back to the EU and ask for a trade deal. They’ll point at the unpaid bill for existing commitments, the withdrawal agreement we have In place and the Irish border situation and say, “nothing has changed, please settle your debts, accept this political declaration and sign up to this backstop to honour your commitment to the Good Friday agreement. Trade talks cannot begin until those are accepted.” And we’re back where we were before.
Honestly, these people are morons if they think WTO rules make even one iota of sense.

Labour's traditional strength in London seemingly weakening (according to a QMUL poll)

Of course, but people trust the people saying that WTO rules is a good idea and that 'clean break' 'none of their rules' kind of exit is simple to grasp. I don't know how fight it

Taken from an email received earlier from peoples-vote.uk:
‘Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party is tipped to win the European Elections on 23rd May. You can stop this by joining the People’s Vote campaign in your area for the final few days of the European Election campaign.
If you believe in a modern, outward looking and inclusive country then join us in campaigning in your local area to encourage people to go out and vote for any party that will give you the final say on Brexit. If we do nothing, then we will let Farage and his isolationist, backwards vision for Britain win.
This Saturday 18th May we will be out campaigning in Lambeth to talk to local people in our area about the importance of voting for pro-PV parties in the upcoming European election. To have maximum impact and to make a real difference for the future of our local community, we need your help. Will you come and join us?
We will be running two events this weekend. Meet us at either Ritzy Cinema Brixton at 11am or Brixton Station at 1pm. New volunteers are very welcome. You will receive a full briefing beforehand and will be paired with more experienced volunteers.
Together, we can stop Farage becoming the face of Britain.’

How the D'Hondt European Election voting system works

@boristrump thanks for sharing. That is great. Best way to check who is polling best in my area? Edit - Conclusion, which I am sharing with my friends and family:
Tactical Voting in the European Elections (Thursday 23rd May)
This election will use the D'Hondt method of proportional representation. Tactical voting for staunch remain parties is slightly complicated and much more difficult than it is to tactically vote in General Elections, where you can use tools such as https://www.tactical2017.com/.
I would encourage everyone to read this neutral blog on the D’Hondt method and how to tactically vote: https://ucl-brexit.blog/2019/05/16/eu-elections-voting-system-explained-dhondt-worry/amp/
If you want to advocate for ‘hard’ Remain (excluding Labour and their vague soft Brexit stance), then it depends on where you live. See http://www.europarl.europa.eu/unitedkingdom/en/european-elections/uk_meps.html
Conclusions:
If you live in a region with 7 or more MEPs, then just vote for the Remain Party that you like best since tactical voting is unlikely to make a difference in the final allocation of seats to Remain supporting parties in that region (Lib Dem, Green, Change UK).
If you live in a region with 6 or fewer MEPs (like me in Yorkshire or my family in the East Midlands), then vote for whichever Remain Party is polling the highest in your region. This is likely to be Green or Lib Dem. Keep an eye out and read as much as you can ahead of Thursday https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48227459

This looks quite useful too. I think they have just crunched their data so recently made it available. While BestforBritain obviously have a position, the site doesn't actually make voting recommendations.

In other news some weird postal ballot activity down in the New Forest...

(And, on that note, this will be an interesting thread to watch)

Well I voted... a postal one.
Liberal Democrats got it... the party with the highest polling in the London area that actually campaigning on a pro-EU basis.
I did the Labour thing at the last election only to have the number cited back that 80% of people actually voted for parties that would support leaving the EU. So I don't feel I could leave things ambiguous this time as Labour remain uncommitted to the EU.

Your post exactly mirrors mine. I was actually surprised that I am still able to vote in London as long as I don't vote over here in the Netherlands. I have also voted libdem, something that I am uneasy about but as you say the only party campaigning on a pro-EU bass.
Anyway, it's in the post. -

Yes, our work here is done (as, hopefully, those that signed up to this 'event' went out to vote).

Back to the EU thread then!
What people seem to be forgetting in this thread is the fringe benefit of them being the only party that realises we're all going to fucking die and who actually want to do something about it, no?
(Another Green voter here).
