Everyone ready? Things to bring:
*Low gears.
*Good vibes.
*A café lock should be adequate...
*We'll probably have finished riding before it's dark, but lights would be a good idea just in case
*Snacks, and a water bottle or two. There are plenty of resupply points on the way round. I was planning some food stops too.
*Some sort of breakfast for the Sunday morning (though you can pick summat up on the way round).
*Hip flask for Saturday night... -

Is the plan still to have a big fire? It's looking like we could be in for a few showers. I'll leave the potatoes at home if not...

---Logistics post from me in addition to Landslide's post above---
Meeting point: Next to the fountains at Sheaf Square, 08:50.
Cooking: bring a stove if you have one, for dinner and breakfast
Water: bring a spare bottle, everyone always runs out overnight!
Food: aiming to have maybe one meal in a pub/cafe, and sandwiches/snacks the rest of the time. For £££ and time reasons.
Fire: yes we will try, you never know!
Navigation: please download the GPX files of the route from page 1 to your device -

Yeah... it looks pretty much like none of those pics. In the woods, plenty of trees around, flat. A groundsheet or bivvy bag to keep your mat and bag clean and dry(er) could be helpful.

Was a really good weekend thanks, probs only 1-2 hours of rain in total which was ridiculously lucky. Good people, nice weather, route that had it all (technical climbs, rocky descents etc), nice pub stops and a good camping pitch. I am going to make some notes on the route and sort my pictures one night this week, but here's a preview.
Incredible route/ encyclopedic peaks knowledge from @Landslide.
Thanks for organising it @platypus

Yup. I was on the drop bar bike, so let them enjoy it while I went for a cuppa in Castleton.

I will probably have to bring my tipi tent so have one sleeping space free. Weather outlook looks good so far.
