Really wanted to come to my first one ever but looks like I have the double issue of: won’t have finished bike and am auspposed to see parents. Pants.

Confirmed for this! Sadly my roadie instincts will probably overrule the 'offroad chill' option getting to and from the forest so will be going Peckham -> London Bridge -> Shoreditch -> Hackney -> Lea Bridge Road -> Epping White Audi Doucheroad -> Chingford Greggs. Will be on Le Gravier bike aka USA Freedom Stones bike

You could get on the lea navigation at LBR and ride up traffic free to Chingford.

@Howard when you say "traffic free to Chingford", there is still that bit on A110 and uphill, or do you leave Lea Navigation earlier somewhere? #quietwaylife

I believe the train drops you off right at the start of the trails ;-)

For the A110, just ride nicely on the pavement.
For the uphill, cut into the trees up hawksmouth (road with care home in an office block), go up and over pole hill.

You can exit the canal later.

I ride on the pavement on the a110 because that road is a clusterfuck. I then turn off in to a side road and in to Epping Glade so do the hill climb off road.
