We are praying/hoping before the nocturne...

The aero penalty of SS + arm warmers vs LS must be pretty tiny.
I was only expecting to properly TT twice this year. So figure SS was the more useful option even if I use arm warmers 90% of the time. I also have short arms so at least SS removes a fit question mark.

My thinking too. Except I will never TT. I now look forward to the 8 weeks of torturing myself over whether I should have gone for the small instead of xsmall. Hooray.
But anyway @6pt @HoKe @branwen @TheArchitect @Hovis and @eyebrows thank you so much for putting this all together. It's a really wicked design and all your hard work (which is mostly a lot of really boring admin I'd think) is really appreciated. My promuting is going to be off the chain.

Depends on how you define tiny

19 orders for short sleeve
11 orders for long sleeve

I was thinking 0,5 - 1,5 w at TT speed (40kph). Probably less if you consider the arms of a LS will need to be folded somewhere. Guesstimates obvs. I'f I cared more I'd have invested in more 'tested' skinsuit i guess.

There's 15w between a close fitting LS club skinsuit and a top end one. More if you go full custom.

• #134
That much? Crazy. Isn't it mainly down to how well it fits the rider?
-
• #135
Well fit is a big gain, then it's down to what it does to the airflow over the rider.

As I understand it. Theres quite a decent difference between speedsuits too.
I was thinking about the same suit. One short sleeved (with silicon grippers etc) With arm warmers under. One long sleeved. I may be underestimating the difference to justify my choice I Guess. I run my elbow pads miles apart, so my arms are definitly out in the Wind. Long sleeved stuff is always shit on me though.

• #144
I'm getting excited about delivery (even though I know we're a few weeks away).
-
• #146
Due to some technically issues with the design, we couldn't make it for the delivery date for 3rd of June, Milltag informed me that it is most likely to be around 15th June, still within summer but not ideal as I wanted it to hit the nocturne! =(

I know, I will phone them up next week to get a fixed date, (praying we can get the skinsuits earlier) will keep this thread informed.

I wouldnt have been able to get into mine yet anyway........
The main thing for me is that it isnt posted to Norway marked With its full value.
The local customs trolls will hold it for weeks while they scratch their heads. Then charge me £45 tax and head scratching fees.

I just appreciate everyone's efforts. But just because it's a little delayed doesn't mean it won't be great when it gets here.
I've been thinking about how great I'm going to look in it when I'm going 15mph around Kent on my £400 fixie.
Early June.
