Been a fettling mess tonight. Added a link to my chain for extra clearance for mudguards, found out 3 of 4 eyelets are stripped after near installation, and then after deinstall I've somehow put a stiff link in the new chain and it goes clunk clunk every time the link hits the sprocket. So no rain jacket (lost it on a ride), no mudguard and bad chain. Obviously I'm still in tho.

@youramericanlover does your chainbreaker have a straddle for the chain where the back of the chain won't be braced against anything? If so you can put the stiff link on this straddle and push the pin very slightly to loosen the stiff link. Alternatively wiggle it opposite to the way it wants to move with gusto and that should loosen it a bit.

And yeah I was workin' it with some lube and hard wrist action but it was still stiff at the end #amazingeuph
