I had a BTM years ago in the translucent gold colorway... Had to let it go due to a down size move. It rode nicer then my Sunday Funday

I saw a clip from that video earlier- nuts indeed!
BB should arrive tomorrow
Probably won’t be built until mid Jan 25 as a few things coming up.
Will try and get a partial mock up / frame pics done over the weekend -

Does anyone know the max chainring size at the front that will fit on these frames? 44t doesn’t fit. I don’t want to go to one of those tiny rings at the front really

44x16t :)? Are you still in the 90's? Do they even make those rear hubs still? Does it get double 48 spoke wheels too?
I'd recommend 30x10t. -

This, get that chainring out of the way.

How rude 😱 BMX wise I have a 99 and 2 x 01 mid school standards all with 44/16 gearing so your observation is pretty accurate 😀
Rear is a profile mini so can get most sizes of cog . 30x10 is a pretty high gear? -
• #35
Oh I see, I didn't know you could still get 16t for Profile hubs! Makes sense since they are also used for race bmx bikes.
I liked 30x10 but its very personal obviously. -

Maybe a 15 rear 40t front- a bit of spin as it’s for street/park
Mock up with post and seat from the trls250. Stem is s &m off eBay for £10
Excuse the crap pic!

I wish you’d posted that 30 minutes earlier..but I do like the green 👌
Cool as, going to be a nice build.
I was lucky enough to ride quite a few eras of BMX. I had a Burner Aero in 1997ish as my first BMX when I was about 8 (still have it). It was old then but I loved it, so much so I have a collection of them now.
Always lusted after S&Ms though but never had one, I had the SLAM XLT bars with race forks when they came out and they were game changing. Most memorable S&M moment is seeing 2 translucent red and gold frames at Purdiswell skatepark in about 2004? What do you think they might have been?
Been looking out for a race bmx recently and my options are either a full blown disc equipped bike or a Steel panther/speed wagon.
